Charge Fees But Don’t Provide Services
Joseph Chornyak (also known as Joe Chornyak) is running a scam. His company, Chornyak & Associates charged me thousands of dollars without providing me with any services whatsoever. Their online wealth management is a disgrace and a total sham. These people claim to offer digital meetings with their experienced wealth advisors but even after paying them multiple times, I didn’t get a single meeting with them.

Wealth advisors are professionals who are experts in finance and provide financial services and advice to clients based on their financial situation and goals. However, nowadays there are various scammers who dupe investors by claiming themselves to be wealth advisors.
They make huge claims and make themselves seem like caring and genuine professionals. But Joseph and his team members are greedy and complacent. They don’t treat their customers fairly.
They are Running a scam. I had opted for their online account. They charged me fees without doing anything. I had to get rid of them because their online account management sucks

I should give a little more details on who this guy is so you wouldn’t confuse Joe with someone else. Joseph Chornyak is the Managing Partner at Chornyak & Associates. He has around 30 years of experience in the finance industry and has worked with many people. I think he has grown lazy or his firm is filled with lazy douchebags who don’t know how to talk to customers properly.

Maybe he used to be great when he was young or maybe his son (Joseph Chornyak Jr.) is ruining his father’s work. In any case, I was the one who lost the most because of their laziness.
My Terrible Experience With Chornyak & Associates
When I hired Joseph and his company I did not expect them to be so unprofessional and inaccessible. I live in a different state than those guys so I had opted for their online wealth management system. It seemed quite innovative to me so I was very interested in using it.
I had read about Joseph online and I was very fond of his work. Nonetheless, I had no idea that he would be an irresponsible and careless wealth advisor.
I had hired them some time ago. And I got to meet with a random associate there once through the digital wealth management system. That meeting was just for introductions and did not actually lead to anything but I was happy that at least things got started. If I had known that it would be the only meeting I would have with my supposedly professional financial advisors then I wouldn’t have paid them at all.
After that meeting, I tried to get another one with those people.
We had an appointment and they were supposed to meet me at a designated time. But at the time of the meeting they were unavailable. They cited some technical errors for this fault and told me that they can arrange another meeting a week later.
I said,”Ok, no problem,” and thought I would get to meet my advisers in the next week.
Lo and behold they were unavailable at that time too. This time they claimed that there was some technical error from my side and that was the main reason why I couldn’t need my advisors.
You can understand how irritating it would have been for me especially when they were charging me thousands of dollars every month.
I had already paid them a substantial amount of money by then and I was getting frustrated.
I told them that if I didn’t get to meet any advisor in our next meeting, I would have to fire them because so far I had paid them for literally no services availed.
The customer service representative who was talking to me was very apologetic and told me that I don’t need to get angry. However they disappointed me again when I couldn’t meet any wealth advisors let alone Joseph for whom I was paying thousands of dollars.
Unlike my expectations. They turned out to be one of the worst service providers I have ever hired. They requested to remain patient for some weeks and promised me that I would get a refund if they fail. So, I gave them a final chance.
Can you guess what they did? They stopped responding. The customer service rep who was very apologetic and sympathetic turned into a rude guy within a few days.
I tried everything, I contacted them through email and phone but they wouldn’t respond to me. I lost all the money I had paid them. Not only are they highly expensive, they don’t offer any services to their digital customers too. I wonder how they treat their customers in meetings and events.

I think they don’t have the necessary infrastructure to offer digital wealth management services to their clients. Apart from that, I had requested them to arrange a phone call with Joe or any senior advisor but they forgot that too. Either that, or they just don’t care much about their customers.

Chornyak & Associates is a terrible wealth management company which doesn’t respect its customers. Their customer relations managers don’t know anything about decency or manners. I don’t recommend their services to anyone. I hope this review would’ve helped you in making an informed decision about these thieves.
You can spend your money elsewhere and save yourself from a lot of embarrassment and loss. These people are remorseless scammers who charge numerous fees but don’t offer any services.

I read the positive reviews, and the way they start by saying “the reviews are false” shows just how deluded the people at Chornyak and Associates are. You can never improve if you don’t take customer feedback seriously. To think that this firm has been operating for so long and still hasn’t learned a thing about customer service makes me realise why the finance sector has a bad reputation.
I suspect that these positive reviews claiming that ALL the bad reviews are fake or bogus are either from the company itself or from people who don’t believe in disagreement. Just because you had a good experience with a service provider doesn’t mean others had the same experience. You can’t just say ‘Oh, he had a bad experience and told people about it, he must be lying’.
I’m 90% certain that these 5-star reviews are from Chorynak and Associates. Chornyak has probably told his staff to write these comments to help his reputation. At least, that’s what I think.

I guess if someone posts a negative review on Mr. Chornyak on Facebook, you’ll start saying that Mark Zuckerberg is plotting against the guy.

I just heard about the reviews here and had to see for myself. I don’t believe a word of the criticisms! Chornyak is a highly respected organization that performs magnificently for their clients. They’re consistently at the top of the Bloomberg list. I noticed there’s no indication of who wrote the article. This made me wonder about Gripeo so I decided to dig a little deeper. They say they’re a “leading social platform” but I don’t know on what basis they’re making that claim. Web traffic? Objective analyst reviews? They don’t say. Additionally, there’s no “About Us” page. They provide no information about themselves. None of the advertisers they list are real companies. But if you become a patron and pay $250, you can write reviews. I’m going to do a bit more research on them because I suspect they’re making a political statement.
I also believe these reviews are false. I’ve been with Chornyak for over 25 years and they have been exceptional in their management of my funds. They consistently outperform S&P, are always available when I have questions, and go out of their way to be helpful. They provide a lot of information about the investments they’re making on your behalf, and conduct regular reviews of performance. I suspect that the writers of the negative reviews are trying to impact his business for reasons that have nothing to do with their experiences. Take a look at the dates. The company has been in business for decades, and suddenly three negative reviews appear within days of one another.
I have to believe that these reviews are all bogus. I have been a client of Chornyak & Associates for 25 years, and know that they do not even offer online Wealth Management services. Their services are totally customized to the client goals developed through one-on-one meetings, and they constantly rank in the nations top tier by Barron’s, Financial Times, and other rankings. They have over 1,100 clients, built over 40 years by personal referrals from existing clients. They have exceeded my expectations in all aspects of professionalism.
I’m so sad these reviews. I was hoping Chornyak and associates would be a good advisor, but now I don’t know. Thank you guys you saved me a lot of time and money.
People here are complaining about the online wealth management services of Chorynak, but in reality, their offline services aren’t any good either.
When I hired them this year, I never got to meet with an advisor for MONTHS. They are always busy doing something else.
I only got to meet with the client manager (or associate) but never with an advisor. Even though they charge they so much fees, they don’t have to time to sit with their clients and discuss financial strategies.
After waiting for a few months, I got tired of hearing their lame excuses and got rid of their services for good.
They are terrible indeed.
Chornyak & Associates is probably the worst financial advisor out there. My husband had hired them to handle his portfolio and he ended up losing more than 50% of his portfolio within a few months. He fired them after they couldn’t provide an explanation for causing such a huge loss. My husband and I advise our friends and family to avoid Joe Chornyak and his company.
I had a similar experience with Chornyak & Associates. They got my number through a reference and requested me to try out their ‘online wealth management’. I don’t know what the h3ll they were talking about so I ignored their offer. Then, one of their reps called me and claimed that it would be among the best investments I can make and that I had a 30-day refund guarantee from them.
So I signed up for their online wealth management.
It was a horrible decision on my part because after I signed up there, I couldn’t get a meeting with any of their advisors. They were supposed to connect me with a wealth advisor and hold conference calls or video calls between us. But they never did.
Whenever I would ask about this, they would tell me that I should set an appointment. And whenever I would set an appointment, it would get canceled.
So I requested a refund but they denied this request too. They charged several thousands for doing LITERALLY NOTHING! Chorynak & Associates is a Scam!!!
