Repair work (1/6/17)

Brought my car into motorworld Acura(150 motorworld Dr. #7 Wilkes Barre PA 18702) and they messed up my repairs on my Acura mdx 2messed. I have tried getting in touch they will not return my calls. Service on my 2002 MDX (11/22/16)

Took my MDX into Acura Pleasanton, CA yesterday for service. Very clearly described two problems I had - rough idle when cold and a mysterious intermittent grinding/vibrating sound. They agreed to a free valve adjustment to correct incorrect work done in a previous valve adjustment. This apparently resolved the rough cold idle. But they did very little to diagnose the mysterious and troubling sound and it was the second time I had asked them to resolve the issue. They convinced me replacing a motor mount for $600+ would likely resolve it. On the 13 mile drive home the sound recurred six times. I had earlier considered buying a new MDX (boy oh boy, not now). I was only offered $2500 as a trade in. My service bill this time was over $1100 and they never did a thing to resolve a distressing sound that makes me reluctant to drive to mountains this winter. 2008 MDX (3/13/16)

Location Acura of Bedford Hills, NY. We purchased second new MDX in 2008, has very low mileage 71,000 as partner became ill in 2009 passed away in 2011. I was able to have first strut issue covered under an extended warranty but now I have been told the other strut is bad and both should have been fixed together. Have not returned to dealer but plan on doing so in the next week or so to see if they can work with me to resolve this problem.  View Gripe »

Transmission (10/13/15)

I have a 2012 Acura TL that I purchased as an auction car from a local wrecker service. I purchased the vehicle in the USA and the vehicle is a Canadian vehicle. I took it into the local Acura dealership for a bad skip and come to find out it needs a new transmission. While the vehicle is Canadian and I live in the USA I was told that the warranty does not not apply. I need to know what to do about getting the warranty transferred to the USA. The transmission is still covered under warranty based on the mileage/kilometers. Can you help me??????  View Gripe »

vehicle performance (8/18/15)

I have a certified 2011 RDC Turbo SHAwd, last month I replaced the "coil" to the air conditioning system! Just this week I am told that the" Turbo" is not functioning, and has to be replaced at a cost of$ 6,000.00! The coil was $900.00, it seems that things which don't usually happen are happening! Not happy to help (7/22/15)

I have been a loyal Acura/Honda owner since I was 16 years old. I purchased my 2007 Acura TSX brand new with 3 miles on it in 2007. I have had all the major service done on my TSX at the dealership. My car recently started having problems with the VTECH actuator - I researched and found there was a Technical Service Bulletin for the 2009 Acura TSX with the SAME VTECH actuator problem. The same problem exists for the VETCH actuators on the 2010 Honda Accords, CRVs, etc. Therefore this is a KNOWN problem to Acura - the manufacturer. I took my Acura to my local dealer - they diagnosed my car with the same problem as the Technical Service Bulletin for the 2009 Acura TSX. I contacted Acura Customer Service Dept directly - they are unwilling to provide me any kind of assistance. Nor a valid explaination as to why they won't other than the 2007 Acura VTECH has not yet been "recalled." Was lied to (7/21/15)

Take responsibility for lie I didn't drop off my car just at metro acura and walked way crazy salesman I wanted a trade inThey scammed me for $2,500 for no reason please replyBig Scam Scam dealer the last thing car shoppers need is a salesperson using tricks and scams to increase their own bottom line, at the expense of the customer. I don't recommend this dealer too anyone because I been lied robbed and lied I don't want anyone else to get robbed like I did went to this dealer thinking they could help me with my old Honda lease I thought wrong me and wife drove to the dealer we arrive we met a gentlemen Chuck Hershey I clearly told him that I want to trade in my car a lease he asked how many moths do u need to finish your lease I said about 5 months I told him I was over my miles and other stuff I'm looking for a mdx 2015 he said we sold them all we just have 2016 he said do you want to buy or lease it I said I want  View Gripe »

Disappointed and dissatisfied (7/20/15)

We bought a 2008 Acura TL two years ago, this car was in excellent condition black on black with 52,000 miles on it. After the first year the passenger seat cracked and we had it prepared, then the dash board started cracking, we took it back to the dealership here in Macon, Ga had the first crack repared which lasted about 3 months now there is another crack, mind you my husband is very obsessive about keeping his cars up inside an out. I have spoken with several acura owners with this same problem especially the 2007-2008 modles. I have purchased several cars in my life time and I have never had this to happen I have a 1998 Toyota Four Runner,and a 1991 Honda Accord and neither of these vehicles has a cracked dash board and they are much older and have been in a lot more of sun. I am very dissappointed and dissatisfied with acura right now. I really think there is a defect in these dash boards and something needs to be done. Very Disappointed (7/19/15)

I recently purchased a 2015 RDX demo car and have had it in the dealership several times already. First it was due to the transmission making a horrible rattling noise when it shifted at lower RPMs. They first told me that ALL 2015 RDXs had this issue and that it is normal. Next they said it was an issue that Acura is aware of and they're working on a program to try and correct it. It seemed to get worse so I asked if they could give me what they had told me was wrong with it IN WRITING. They immediately asked me to bring it back in because their mechanic wanted to look at it again. They kept it 5 days and determined that the engine mounts were off somehow and adjusted those. It's much better but still not right but they act like they don't hear me when I try and talk to them about it. I've also had issues with the Hfl ever since I bought the car. I can hear people when they call and I answer it using the Hfl but people can't make out what I'm saying most of the time. They are now…  View Gripe »
