Aldo Access Park Staff are crookes (12/18/16)

On Friday, December 16 I went to Aldo Access Park to find some shoes, I was fortunate to get a nice pair from the imperfect ones which go for R115. I confirmed the price with the sale assistance. I went to the till to pay, and the guy who has been watching me the whole time as I was fitting the shoes, rushed to the till to assist. He scanned the shoes & said it R375. I said, No its one of the imperfect shoes and even showed him the fault, the guy said, “I know, the shoe is R375. Part of me thought the he was joking. I asked him but why would the lady say something else and you the other? He called the lady and shouted, “since when are you giving prices here”, with laughter the lady said sorry mam I told you the wrong price and left. I asked his other colleague, who looked at him with an irritated face then at me and said, “that’s what he says”. I bought many pairs from Aldo lately from Phoenix Viman Nagar Pune only to find myself disappointed.one of them actually broke while on my way to office.its embarrassing.we pay so much for Aldo sandals but it always leta u down.wen I talked to the store representative they din seem to Care much.n not just footwear but accessories too.i need either a refund or a compensation oderwise u wont jus lose me but several orders who I wl influence wid my shopping experience.n lemme add I am a shopaholic.we hv oder brands to go to but if I m buy-in ur stuff I shud prove it worth too.if I dnt get a cal on my no.7276210581 regarding dis..i wl escalate it..big tym..its high time u guys mend ur ways .tnx  View Gripe »

ALDO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE (11/5/16)

I purchased a $50 gift card this past august and gave it to a friend for his birthday. He went to an aldo store and tried to use it and they said the card had $0 on it even though they had charged me. I spent an hour with on the customer service line in august and they looked in their system and told me there was nothing they could do, I was told to go into the store that I had purchased the gift card from. I went into the store last night, the manager said there was nothing that she could do after calling store support because I had purchased the gift card in august (money doesn't expire?), and it was not an exchangeable or returnable item. So I called customer service from the store, and they told me there was nothing they could do. So I kept pushing customer service, after AN HOUR AND HALF of being in the store and on the phone with customer service, they finally found out it was because the sales associate had forgotten to ACTIVATE THE GIFT CARD.  View Gripe »

Retail store (12/22/15)

I returned shoes to Aldo yesterday in the morning, but the money has yet to be refunded to my debit card. Being it is the holidays, this is very inconvenient and I am not pleased at all. So I called my bank to see why I have not been refunded and they told me because it takes 5-7 business days. That is way too long! The sales associate did not inform me of this and I believe that is unbelievably awful customer service. I don't think I will be shopping at Aldo anytime soon.  View Gripe »

EIMER shoes (12/6/15)

I had bought a pair of EIMER shoes, costing $135 about 10 months ago at your Mall of America, Bloomington, Minneapolis store. The sole gave away and a gap opened up between the sole and the upper part of the shoe, on both shoes. I tweeted the pics to @ALDO_help and requested for assistance. ALDO guys tweeted back to me asking me to take the shoes back to the store to check with them for possible repairs. I took the shoes to the store today and I showed them the tweet. The store manager, a lady, was very rude to us, she most emphatically declared that ALDO had stopped doing repairs about 2 years ago. But I showed her the tweet from @ALDO_help, but she again dismissed it off without a care or concern. She lectured us about how the shoes have been over used, how I have over used them in wet conditions, how we have mishandled the shoes by not applying the ALDO shoe shine and we only used wax polish.....blah blah blah! Tie up Zip up boots (2/28/15)
