Buyer Beware

Daily Fitness Academy

Daily Fitness Academy is an elaborate refund scam! Please do not buy their garbage $37 fitness program!!! I bought it and it was a total cr2p. I saw their advert while I was watching a cooking video on YouTube. The ad was convincing enough for me to click the link and their landing page definitely looked promising.

The Daily Fitness Academy Ad I Saw:

Daily Fitness Academy Ad Screenshot
Daily Fitness Academy Ad Screenshot

They seemed to have their own “Love-it-or” policy which really convinced me to buy the program. I’m a father 2 in Texas, I used to workout like a beast in my 20s but you know, life caught up and I got busy. I was trying to get back into shape recently but then the ‘rona outbreak happened and now we are all stuck in our homes. And when I saw their website I was extremely hopeful that their program would help me, I had high hopes. The bodyweight-only workouts are definitely not my style but I did not have any other choice did I.

Either workout at home and stay safe or go to a gym and risk your life for gains, the choice was obvious to me. I got the program, and followed it for the 10 days and guess what, the results were nowhere near the point where they claimed them to be.

Before y’all say I wasn’t strict with the diet, I fcking was, so don’t hit me with that cr2p. I did not like the workouts, the diet was definitely not good or appealing, so I asked for a refund. But, they didn’t give it! They did send me the usual cancellation refund email, but I never got the money! And they do not have any active customer support, even if they do, they don’t respond to refund requests.

How the Daily Fitness Academy Refund Scam works (from an investigative journalist):

One of my old friend’s daughter is an investigative journalist and she has a blog, you can check it out at ******.***. I asked the kid if she will be happy to help me figure out why these guys weren’t giving me a refund and she explained how these online scams work. Here it is:

$37 is not a big amount, but consider this, they are making fake claims that they’ll refund the money if you don’t like the program and if you ask for the refund, they’ll stop responding and you can’t do anything. You won’t reach out to anyone or complain, because it’s such a small amount. But when they do this with 100,000 people, they get $3.7 Million dollars for scamming! Crazy right!

Just look at the number of people who’ve watched their ad. They must’ve earned millions from this!

My mind was blown away with all this, I’m not the thinking type and here the guys at Daily Fitness Academy are pulling off some Charles Ponzi level cr2p!

Things wrong with the 29-Day Bodyweight Only Program (from a certified trainer):

I reached out to my friend, who is also a gym instructor at the Gold’s Gym. Then I asked him to check out the website and let me know what he thought of it. I also sent him some files of the program so he can check it out. The email I got back from him was hilarious, here it is word-by-word:

Here’s a short summary: It is garbage.

These guys are making an unbelievably inaccurate claim that you can get in the best shape of your life in 29 days. IT IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!! The crash diets that these guys recommend are totally unsustainable for the long term and they will mess up your hormones. You will literally be starving yourself the whole time. Sure you might lose some weight in the first few weeks, but that is NOT fat, that is water weight. Their dietary recommendations are bizarre and unhealthy. About the workout program. You won’t get the results shown in the website, I guarantee you that!

The guy who is selling the program, is trying to make a quick buck off people’s hopes. The pic transformation pic they’ve shared on the website is real, but a trained eye can easily see through the lies. The guy already had all the muscle before he started cutting the weight, which means if he just lost all the fat, he was gonna look ripped. And that’s what happened. But the way they are portraying it in the sales page is totally wrong and unethical. A normal person is not going to get those results from a 29 day program, even if they take f***ing roids brother. Maybe I should start selling s**t programs too, I bet this guy is making thousands of dollars ripping people off. What a f***ing shame!

Final Thoughts

Well I decided to post this Daily Fitness Academy review after I realized what kind of organized crime these guys are pulling off. Please share this with your friends and family, I put some effort into all this in hopes that people don’t fall for this scam as I did. Thanks for reading the full post, it means a lot to me.

I have done the 29 Day Bodyweight Only Program which I bought for thirty bucks. And I can tell you this much, the program is extremely overpriced and gives negligible results. You cannot expect the results daily fitness academy shows on their website. They are lying to you. Please do not fall for their charades. It’s shameful to see another online scam taking place while law enforcements don’t take action.

A Certified personal trainer here. My friend actually sent me this post because he wasn’t sure if he should go ahead and buy the 29 day body-weight program. I wasn’t going to write a whole post, but after I read this and how this company is doing false marketing, I felt a moral obligation to do so. So here is my take on this Daily Fitness Academy.
Disclaimer: I have not bought the program myself. But it doesn’t seem necessary to get the program, because the company is lying on their landing page itself.
This program will get you no where:
The transformation pic shown in their landing page, which is supposed to be of the trainer’s brother, is totally fake. Not fake as in Photoshopped, but it is highly misleading. I’ve been training bodybuilders for past 5 years, so I have an eye for things like if a person has muscle or not. The trainer’s brother had a lot of muscle mass already, before he even started the program. However the company has not made this clear anywhere on the website. The transformations at 100% fake and unrealistic. You CANNOT achieve such results with this program. Actually, it is impossible to reach the results they claim to give, without any steroids if you don’t have any lifting experience.
I cannot speak on the refunds because as I said, I have not made a purchase with the Daily Fitness Academy, but I won’t recommend anyone to purchase this program.

Now that I’m here, I’ll just put together a small FAQ section down below, which should answer any questions you might have in your mind.

Why are they lying about the transformations?
Possibly to trick people into buying their program

Would you make progress from this program?
Only if you never lifted in your entire life.

I’m overweight, should I buy this program?
Nope. Start tracking your calories with an app like MyFitnessPal and find out what your daily calorie goal should be. Anaerobic workouts do not burn fat efficiently, which seems to be all this company is offering.

    Where do I get guidance?
Go on YouTube and watch videos by AthleanX. Those are free, and he is much more qualified and experienced than 99% of the trainers. Don’t waste your money on a program which is obviously lying.

A better alternative to all this would be to hire a personal trainer. But don’t stress too much. I always tell people to first start improving their diet. You cannot out crunch/run a bad diet. Once you have a good diet in place, 70% of the work is done.

I hope this helped, cheers 🙂

    - CONS: Lies on their website Misleading claims Overall Sketchy

I bought this program on Saturday July 11, 2020 and started it out on Monday, July 13. I am 46 years old, I have exercised on and off all my life with varied types of exercise, but the last 15 years I continued to gain weight (fat) despite my spontaneous and varied but inconsistent exercising. I had inconsistency partially due to not seeing clear results and not having a system I could stick to and know that it works. When I saw Daily Fitness Academy’s commercial on youtube, I was interested, followed the link, and found out more about it, enough to get convinced. With my unprofessional experience but many years of attempting to get fit, I perceived this could really help me.

After six weeks of following through with the program up to today, I have lost 5.5 pounds of fat, increased my muscle tone and volume, and have started to see me abs. I see great clear results, my wife does too!, and I feel awesome with myself when I look in the mirror and see great improvements week over week.

Hence I know that I can confidently continue on my path with this program and continue to look and feel even better. Despite my age and many years of not having the body I wanted, I have high goals and I can see this system is getting me to them. No doubt!

Congratulations and thanks to the team that put this together at a very affordable price. Very well worth it.

+ PROS: Full system to achieve a great fit body Easy to understand and follow Videos showing clearly how to perform each exercise No need of equipment! Although it can be added with some variations. Method to continue improving body fitness I receive follow up emails with tips and motivation!
    - CONS: A little long reading, but very useful to have everything ultra-clear

TL,DR / Disclaimer: I am not an expert on nutrition or fitness by any means. I’m an overweight and out-of-shape 39-year-old guy, glad to have found an affordable home exercise plan that works for me, and actually gives me more energy and more will to exercise.

I haven’t noticed a significant change in my looks after 29 days, but I do feel much better and I have more energy – and that is why I believe this program is well worth the $37 that I paid for it.

Don’t call them criminals and scammers! What they sell actually helped some of us, you know.

I honestly don’t care about the 29 days idea – I don’t need to look like Superman in a month. What I do need is – I need to feel better and have more energy after a few days of doing the exercises, and I do, thanks to Daily Fitness Academy. The good looks should really be seen as a by-product of your sustained effort and perseverance, and not the goal of this program in and of itself.

    Long version:

I do tend to agree that a crash diet is unsustainable in the long term – or, for the vast majority of people, even over the course of those same 29 days.

29 days might happen in extreme circumstances, for people who have very strong willpower, but then again – those people wouldn’t need this program.

Perhaps Daily Fitness Academy shouldn’t have advertised it as 29 days, but this program has made a significant difference for me over the course of almost two months that I have been using it, and that is why I support it and recommend it to anyone who wants to feel better to begin with.

To put it quite simply, I don’t have the willpower for the diet that they prescribe, and I don’t have the willpower to do the exercises 5 days a week. I can pull off maybe 3 days a week with these exercises. But even that is much better than not doing any exercises at all.

There is no magic bullet – it’s really all about hard work and perseverance, just like anything else in life.

Don’t think that if you just do this for 29 days you’ll start looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger from his younger days – think of it as more of a long-term lifestyle change. After you invest enough time and effort into this program, you absolutely will be satisfied with the way you look. Granted, it will take quite a bit longer than 29 days for most people – but that does not make this program a scam.

The exercises are structured in such a way that I really don’t have to push myself very hard to get started on them. The exercises are not hard to get through, either.

That’s why the ladders are so useful – you can get started at the level at which you can actually physically perform the exercises for the appropriate amount of reps, for 3 sets. Once an exercise becomes too easy, you move to the next step on the ladder. I’m already on level 3 and level 4 on a few of them.

I also have to admit that when I saw the transformation image – I myself really wouldn’t mind looking like the “before” photo, never mind the “after” photo.

So, I did buy the program, and I like it very much. It works for me. I absolutely believe that I am better off now, after I bought the program and used it for almost two months, than I was before I bought it.

That’s what my $37 bought me.

Now, ask yourself this – if you had no motivation to exercise, how much would you have to pay for just one session with, say, a shrink, to discuss the reasons why you have no motivation?

In other words – how much time with a shrink would $37 buy you, in any part of the world where shrinks are actually a thing?

    That’s what I thought.

As far as I’m concerned, this program helped me to get started on the path of improving my life, my health, my energy levels, and my physical appearance, and for that, I am grateful.

In other words, I now have a roadmap, that, if I follow closely enough for a long enough period of time, I believe that I will see substantial improvements. I can already feel them. That’s why I compared this program to a shrink, because a shrink is also supposed to give you a roadmap as to how you can improve your life.

And that is well worth the $37 in my book.

How far along I get really depends on me, not on Daily Fitness Academy. But I know one thing for sure – I’m not planning on asking them for a refund.

As Morpheus said to Neo in the Matrix, “I can only show you the door, but you’re the one who has to walk through it”..

+ PROS: - This program gets you moving! - It's a roadmap to more energy and willpower, and you should see it as such, not as a magic pill to get you to look like Superman. - Start the exercises at the level at which you can do them, and work your way up gradually. - If you do the exercises for 3 days in a row, you WILL feel better on the 4th day, and that will motivate you to keep going!
    - CONS: - I think maybe only 1% of all people can achieve that amazing transformation in 29 days - It's geared a bit too much toward people who are already working out and are in some sort of shape, as opposed to the rest of us who haven't done any exercise in years

I don’t know about the refund stuff. But I did the whole 29-day bodyweight program myself during the quarantine. They make fake promises on their website. The transformation they show there are totally unrealistic. I hoped I never wasted my money on it honestly. It helped me start excercising again in teh quarantine so I don’t mind it taht much, but overall it is not worth the price. Why do these online sellers have to make fake claims to sell their product? Why can’t you guys be honest for once?

    + PROS: Okay program
    - CONS: Totally unrealistic testimonials in the website Overpriced for the quality of the content provided

I saw ad of daily fitness academy when i was watching youtube. I want to gain muscle and become like ronnie coleman. I was thinking about buying the workout program but wanted to do a little bit of research. It might not be a big deal for most people to spend $37, but in my country’s currency that is a lot of money. Thank you for saving me from this scam!

  10. Thanks you helped me save some good money. God bless you

  11. Whoever wrote this post is lying. We have NEVER failed to provide a full refund to any customer who asks.

If whoever wrote this can prove that you were an actually customer of ours by providing your name…and that you actually requested a refund and never got one…I’ll give you triple their money back right now!

Second issue with this whole review is that we launched our product on May 31st, 2020. This review was written on June 5th claiming they tried it for 10 days before writing the review. That math just simply doesn’t make sense. At most, he only tried it for 6 days. That is…if he was an actually customer of ours.

This site says….”Critical, unbiased, and honest Reviews By Experts.” You may need to add…”who don’t actually try the programs they are reviewing.”

Not to mention the simple fact that we never claim anywhere that you’ll get the promised results in just 10 days. We guarantee the promised results in 29 days, not 10.

Last thing I’d like to mention is the fact that this person shared our proprietary content which is protected. This is a violation of our terms and very unfortunate to see.

I’m sorry to anyone who was been mislead by this unfortunate scam of a review.

  12. Thank you so much for this!
I too came across the ad and it seemed promising albeit sketchy…
The idea of 1 month to crazy fitness sounds too good to be true and it is like all other things.
I figured I’d do a search to see if anything came up and it did and I am so thankful to you for it.
Thanks for saving me my money!
