This agreement resolves charges that Dr. Aarti Pandya intentionally filed fraudulent claims for YAG laser capsulotomies and medically unnecessary cataract extraction procedures with federal healthcare programs from January 1, 2011, to December 31, 2016.
According to acknowledged medical practice norms, Dr. Aarti Pandya was accused by the authorities of performing these treatments on patients who weren’t eligible for them and, in some circumstances, injuring her patients.
