He was unable to schedule a visit with Dr. Blick. He relocated to Oklahoma from Colorado, so he looked for a pain management specialist at Alliance Health in Woodward, OK. He was instructed to get in touch with Dr. Blick. He explained my chronic pain situation to Dr. Blick in an email. The office of Dr. Blick called me and instructed me to get in touch with Alliance Health in Woodward. Alliance Health advised me to get in touch with Dr. Blick when I called them again. This time, I contacted Woodward at the number Dr. Blick provided. He left an answering machine message. I never received a response from the Woodward office of Dr. Blick.

# Dr. Brian Blick is a disaster

This person told that Planning to visit this doctor was a complete mess. It is quite inconvenient to find a driver who must take time off work to drive when a patient is required to have a driver but the hospital waits until late the day before the surgery to inform the patient. Many businesses require more time to be able to release someone from their duties. Undoubtedly, there is a way to give us more time to make plans.

Dr. Brian Blick paid $95,000 after DEA’s Charges

Dr. Brian Blick, M.D. (“Dr. Blick”) has paid $95,000 to settle civil penalty claims stemming from allegations that he disregarded the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act of 1970 and its regulations, according to United States Attorney Robert J. Troester.

The Western Oklahoma Pain Specialists Clinic (the “Clinic”) in Elk City, Oklahoma, is where Dr. Blick allegedly placed orders for prescription medications between March 18, 2020, and March 1, 2022. However, some of the orders are said to have been made without the necessary paperwork being kept.

More particular, Dr. Blick neglected to keep track of the DEA 222 order forms for the procurement of the Schedule II restricted narcotic fentanyl and neglected to mark the DEA 222 order forms with the amounts and dates fentanyl was delivered to the Clinic.  Dr. Blick consented to pay the United States $95,000 to settle these claims.

Dr. Blick did not acknowledge fault in the settlement, and neither did the federal government admit that the allegations were justified.  The agreement enables the parties to forego the difficulty, money, delay, and ambiguity that come with a court battle.

The Office of Diversion Control of the Drug Enforcement Administration looked into this situation. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ronald R. Gallegos and Amanda R. Johnson.
