Eric Bugenhagen – A Fitness Freak & His Loving Wife
Eric Bugenhagen (AKA “The Bugez” AKA “Van Hagen”), is not a household name when it comes to YouTube fitness influencers, however, he is one of the most unique and talented ones out there.
Eric is mostly known for his herculean strength and unorthodox lifts.
He has a cult-like following on YouTube and Reddit. There are almost zero haters of Eric because of his charisma and amazing personality.
Eric Bugenhagen Wife: An Ideal Life Partner
Die-hard fans of The Bugez know what an important role his wife plays in his life. They have a really cute love story and Eric’s wife is the bedrock in his life. She supported him throughout all his decisions and stood by him.

She often makes appearances in his videos and his audience loves her too. In a video titled “Wife assisted 635 lbs bench hammer strength”, Eric Bugenhagen is bench pressing 635 lbs with some assistance from his wife.
Eric and his wife have faced a lot of hardships together, in an interview, Eric revealed that he had to rely on his parents for food & groceries while he was living with his mother-in-law. He has stated that if his wife wouldn’t have been by his side during these times, then he definitely would have been more toxic and self-destructive.
On 25th February, Eric posted a video on his YouTube channel titled “Relationship Breakup?”. The video starts off with Eric reading a question submitted by a fan named Michael, who wanted some life advice from him.
Michael asked whether he should break up with his girlfriend because he didn’t know what he wanted in a relationship. And that’s when Eric started telling the story of the 20-year-old Eric Bugenhagen.
Eric revealed that he was basically a delinquent in his younger days and frequently found himself in sticky situations. Repeating his bad behaviors led his parents to kick him out of their house. At first, it sounds horrible but if that wouldn’t have happened then Eric might’ve never met his wife. Why? Because Eric met and fell in love with his wife when he went out looking for a place to crash.
I wouldn’t want to dwell too deep into Eric’s personal life as he likes to keep his off-camera life discreet. So let’s jump to the next topic, his WWE career. But before that you can check out Back Guy’s viral video on Eric:

Eric isn’t as skilled as Jeff Nippard when it comes to monetizing his brand, so he doesn’t have many revenue streams, however he still seems to do his best. I’m not sharing this to bash him, but to let you guys know that if you want to really support the guy then please make some purchases.
