Patient Waited for 40 Minutes Past the Appointment Time, Pratt Only Spent 2 Minutes With Them
The reviewer was referred to the Houston Center for Facial Plastic Surgery for possible surgery to fix headaches. Even though they waited 40 minutes after the appointment time, Dr. Pratt only spent 2 minutes with them and walked out.
He didn’t explain the procedure, what the recovery would be like or what are the potential side effects. The reviewer questions the way Pratt handles patients. Entering the Operation Theater without knowing what the side effects can be, how long the recovery would be is too dangerous of a thing to do. Certainly, Dr. Pratt doesn’t respect the time of his patients.
Performed 3 Surgeries, Botched All of Them
This person had come to Dr. Patt’s clinic because another surgeon had botched their rhinoplasty. The previous surgeon had removed a lot of cartilage from their nose. So, they wanted Dr. Patt to rebuild the nose. However, he failed miserably.
He left excess tissue inside one side of their nose. Then, he performed another procedure and charged again to remove the excess tissue he had left. Dr. Patt lied to this reviewer that he had removed all of the excess tissue when he had only removed around 75% of it.

He had botched this surgery as one side of the reviewer’s nose started to collapse. Patt performed another procedure to add filler on their nose but added too much. Due to this, one side of the reviewer’s nose didn’t match the other side and damaged the appearance of the person.
He wanted to perform another surgery on the person but they refused. The reviewer says that Patt doesn’t have proper surgical skills and it’s very unethical that he charges more fees for fixing his own mistakes.

Patient Agitated As HCPS Lied Constantly
This reviewer points out that HCPS misleads its patients for money. They had asked over the phone how much they’d have to pay to get Botox for migraines. The reviewer had also enquired whether their insurance covered this procedure or not. When they called, a lady picked up the phone and said she didn’t know the cost. She told the reviewer to call the clinic a day before the procedure to get the information.
When the reviewer arrived at the clinic for their appointment, they asked a blonde lady sitting at the front desk to find out if she got the message. She said she did but couldn’t quote the price until she found out what the doctor would quote.
They told her that they needed Botox for migraines but she wouldn’t know the cost until after the procedure.
The reviewer points out that it was all a lie. The staff at the Houston Center for Facial Plastic Surgery was lying to them because at the end of the visit they told them Dr. Patt is not a neurologist so Botox for migraines is never covered. They only wanted to make money off of this person so they avoided telling them this fundamental detail.
Moreover, Dr. Patt told the reviewer that the reason why the staff couldn’t give a quote was because they didn’t know how many units of Botox would be used. Again, this was a very misleading way of convincing the patient because they could’ve simply told the reviewer how much they charge per unit.
