John Mizzi Disclosures: BrokerCheck, FINRA, And SEC

The brokerCheck report of John Mizzi includes information such as employment history, professional qualification, disciplinary actions, criminal convictions, civil judgment, and arbitration awards as well as disclosure events.

There have been reports of the following disclosure types: three customer disputes.

The plaintiff asserted Incompetence  & negligence to advise as causes of action. The action is related to recommending and buying an annuity. The claimant claimed that the respondents neglected to inform him of the value of his investment and whether or not there were any fees or penalties for withdrawals.

Financial Advisors often take down their client disputes from FINRA’s Public database through Disclosure Expungement. Even law firms provide expungement services to FAs so that they can hide or remove their client disputes and maintain a clean record. So the lack of any disclosures on BrokerCheck doesn’t necessarily mean that the broker hasn’t had any conflicts in the past.
