Rejuvenated Medical Spa – Discriminatory Practices & People : REVIEW 2023
Rejuvenated Medical Spa is a Fayetteville, Arkansas-based medspa notorious for its discriminatory marketing and poor services. Their address is 3959 N Steele Blvd #122, Fayetteville, AR 72704, US and the contact number is 479-335-5777.
The person running this place is Nick Gentry, MD. He received his undergraduate degree at Southwest Missouri State University.
They offer several services here including:
- Visia
- Hypothyroidism
- Hormone balance
- CoolSculpting
- Vampire facial and facelift
- Platelet rich plasma (PRP)
- Laser services
- Injectable treatments
- MiraDry
- Laser services
On paper, they seem like a great place. However, their negative reviews cover several sensitive topics.
Before you spend your valuable money and time at this medspa, it would be best if you read what others are saying about it. This way, you can make a better-informed decision:
Receiving Criticism for Fatphobic Advertisements
Susan shares that the front desk staff at Rejuvenated Medical Spa was quite kind. However, she won’t visit this place because of the fatphobic ad she saw on their social media accounts.
Note that the Fayetteville-based medical spa had released an advertisement where they were making fun of people with double chin. Susan says that the Rejuvenated Medical Spa is not inclusive. Furthermore, she says that she wouldn’t be the only person who would feel intimidated to go to this place.
Like any other culprit, the medspa apologized to Susan several times in its response. However, making fatphobic remarks in an advertisement shows that the people running this place aren’t very inclusive indeed. They just exposed themselves.
Another medical practitioner who discriminates against people based on their weight is Dr. Javad Sajan of Allure Esthetic. He is a celebrity doctor who has ridiculed several of his patients because of a number on a scale.
Keep in mind that obesity has a direct correlation with depression. Making fun of people based on their weight can have a serious impact on people who are already struggling with anxiety and other mental health issues.
Certainly, the people running the Rejuvenated Medical Spa should be more sensitive. The above complaint was just one of the many.
Rejuvenated Medical Spa Charges $50 For Rescheduling an Appointment Ahead of the Date
The above reviewer shares that she wasn’t happy with the service. She tried to change the appointment because her child had a post-surgery check up. However, the clinic didn’t let her reschedule.
The reviewer highlights that she has always reached the clinic on the scheduled time. So, she was surprised to see that the medspa refused to comply with her on such a serious issue. Instead of trying to understand her situation, Rejuvenated Medical Spa charged her $50 for rescheduling the appointment.
The reviewer shares that she was very disappointed with this. Even if you notify them ahead of time, they will charge you without any regard for your situation.
Obviously, this medspa lacks empathy for its clients. It doesn’t try to understand the position of its clients and focuses solely on how much money it can leech off of them.
Should You Visit the Rejuvenated Medical Spa?
Rejuvenated Medical Spa is surely not a great option. There are plenty of better medspas in the region. This place suffers from close-mindedness and poor policies which put the client at a disadvantage.
Unless they improve themselves, which seems highly unlikely, it would be best for you to avoid the hassle and find a different medspa. Avoid Rejuvenated Medical Spa.
I don’t like how the staff behaves here. Rejuvenated Medical Spa seems like a pretentious place. Now I know why this place bugged me. I had no idea they discriminate against certain people.
