The Billion Coin

Cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, have become popular and serve as a type of money. They may be traded on online exchanges for conventional currencies, including the U.S. dollar, or used to purchase goods or services. Scammers are looking to take advantage of this popularity.  They are now offering schemes that promise high returns for getting in on the ground floor of a growing Internet phenomenon. My subscribers have requested that I take a look at The Billion Coin.  Here is what I have found.

The Billion Coin Scam Claims

The Billion Coin is created for the mission to end poverty globally and equalize the rich and the poor.

When people ask you: “Who is the creator of TBC?” You can answer: “It doesn’t matter who, because TBC is a true crypto-currency and it’s completely decentralized. We never have to worry about a company changing things, or losing our money, because as a TBC coin owner, I have just as much rights as the next TBC coin owner, and the price of TBC only goes up!”

Reality Exposed in this The Billion Coin Review

The name of the person behind The Billion Coin (TBC) is not provided. You are not able to do your due diligence on their past activities. The owner of the official blog for this coin does know who the owner is and chooses not to share this information with investors.

“The Creator of TBC believes the RISKS of not participating in the TBC opportunity carry far greater costs than the RISKS associated with purchasing TBC Coins. “Loss of Opportunity” is a very real RISK!” – Source blog.thebillioncoin.info

In the first year anniversary video for TBC we find out that TBC has an Admin and they are the creator of TBC. This admin who likes to be know as Kris Kringle is in charge of this scam.

They claim to be decentralized, but your wallet can be suspended by the admin if you do not follow their rules.

All of your TBC wallets will be suspended without warning for up to six months if submitted documentation proves that you are attempting to or have broken the Membership Agreement. All buying and selling of TBC coins must be done at the Current Price. Selling TBC coins at a discount is strictly forbidden and punishment will be swift and without notice given. All packages of TBC coins sold adding TBC coins as a gift will also be considered a discounting of the price of TBC and will be punished. The foundation of the TBC community is the Membership Agreement and we will not allow anyone to crack it, and have zero tolerance for anyone who attempts to break it. – Source thebillioncoin.info

Since a six month suspension did not seem to be working the admin updated the rules:

ALL TBC DISCOUNTERS, BOTH BUYERS AND SELLERS, WILL HAVE ALL OF THEIR TBC WALLETS SUSPENDED FOREVER, RETROACTIVELY! Apparently, a 6 month suspension was not enough of a deterrent to stop this abusive behavior. Keep on posting your discounting offers on Facebook, because you are making it very easy for us to find you, so we can suspend your wallets right away. – Source blog.thebillioncoin.info

The Billion Coin was launched on March 21, 2016 with the Initial Price of 0.001 Euros per TBC coin. The Current Price takes from the Initial Price to the Ultimate Price is determined by a software formula that measures the average daily growth in Verified Members of The Billion Coin community and rewards that growth in kind. From the Day of Launch on 3/21/2016 the Current Price can either follow a 1% to 5% path towards the Ultimate Price and will increase daily by 1% to 5% until it reaches the Ultimate Price.

The formula of the Ultimate Price of The Billion Coin is one Euro multiplied by the total number of Verified Members within the community. For example, if the total number of Verified Members equals 10,000, then the Ultimate Price of The Billion Coin is 10,000 Euros per coin.

Kringles are the smallest change of TBC coins and most of the Community prefer to refer to the units of value in Kringles instead of TBC.

TBC does not use market forces to determine the price of the coin.  It is determined by a formula that always increases its value so that people who got in early see a return on their investment. These kind of returns defy all financial logic, they can only be funded by other investors joining.

In my opinion,  TBC is not a legitimate Cryptocurrency.  It artificially creates a return on your investment with a formula and does not use the open market to determine the true value of the coin.  This coin functions more like a Ponzi investment than a Cryptocurrency.

Things to look out for in Cryptocurrency scams:

  • Does the coin have a central authority?
  • Does the coin pay returns to its investors?
  • Does the coin require an ever increasing flow of money to sustain it?

You get paid for every person you recruit into TBC:

What is the incentive to share THEBILLIONCOIN and why should you recruit people into it? The answer is so easy! Doesn’t the Ultimate Price of TBC go up by one Euro for each new member that comes into THEBILLIONCOIN community? Yes! It does! Doesn’t the Current Price of TBC go up daily, like clockwork, at a rate of 1% to 5% until it reaches the Ultimate Price of TBC? Yes! It does! So, what does that mean to you when you are holding onto TBC coins? It means that you GET PAID for every person that you recruit. It also means that you GET PAID when they recruit too. Not only that, you GET PAID when the people that got in before you recruit. If you could imagine putting the whole TBC community into some form of an MLM structure, then you could also see that you GET PAID whenever someone from a side-line from you recruits. Recruiting is easy! – Source blog.thebillioncoin.info

What is this scam all about?  Here is a quick explanation that I think clears it up:

There are thousands of us here as TBC members, but there are billions of them that are not yet receiving the abundance that comes from owning TBC coins. Sell your TBC coins to them; invite and educate the people you are already connected with in the world outside, to join us on our quest to make this a better world for all, sharing in the abundance that comes from being a part of the TBC community. – Source tbc004.net

It is about taking wealth from people who have wealth and transferring it to TBC members who don’t have wealth.

The cost to participate is the amount you spend to buy TBCs or Kringles.
