Yosemite AP: This is a Ponzi Scheme.

Yosemite AP is a San Francisco-based investment platform that claims to bring together investors, tech companies, and start-ups. After being exposed by the SEC, Seedchange collapsed in late 2021 and rebranded as Yosemite AP.

In 2020, a team of fraudsters named Seedchange launched a Ponzi Scheme. Seedchange Execution Services is an MLM Ponzi scheme that drew the attention of California’s Department of Financial Protection.

This resulted in a domain name change, yet Seedchange continued until it was forced to close down. The collapse of Seedchange coincided with the SEC keeping the fraudulent investment scheme on pause.

How exactly does a Ponzi scheme operate?

An investment fraud known as a Ponzi scheme draws investors with claims of great returns and no risk but fails to invest the money as stated. Instead, it pays off earlier investors with money from future investors while maybe keeping a portion of the profits. These schemes typically fail when recruiting investors becomes challenging or when multiple investors attempt to cash out. They depend on a steady flow of new buyers to operate. They are called after Charles Ponzi, who ran a similar scam using postal stamps in the 1920s.

Seedchange was relaunched as Yosemite EP in December 2021. According to available information, Yosemite EP collapsed in early to mid-2022.

Their website has no accurate data on who owns or operates Yosemite AP. The same fraudsters appear to be back with Yosemite AP. It uses the domain “Yosemite-ap.com,” privately registered on June 28th, 2022.

26/12/2023 Update
As of now, Yosemite AP has not responded, nor has it apologized for its misdeeds. They have ignored our efforts to highlight the problems faced by their victims. Furthermore, they have only focused on propagating their fake PR.

One user stated that before anyone could withdraw, they had to pay a 510$ activation charge.

He received this message from the Administrator’s chat: He cannot withdraw his money, but they have proposed an account activation fee of 510 USD; if he pays this amount, he can withdraw cash.

He said it was a fraud, and he now knows where to report it.

Yosemite-ap.com has a very low trust score, indicating that the website is most likely a scam

Unsurprisingly, neither Seedchange nor Yosemite EP are related to Yosemite Exchange Partners. Yosemite AP doesn’t either.

If an MLM company is not open about who runs or controls it, consider twice before joining and turning over any money.

Company Rating

The website’s owner is utilizing a service to hide his or her identity. This could be due to the owner’s want not to be spammed. However, it makes finding the true owner of the website difficult. As a result, websites that hide their true identities receive a somewhat lower score.

Webshop Analysis

Yosemite AP’s website has a low trust rank. This signifies that the number of visits to this website is quite low. This is expected from a new, small, or niche website. A popular website, on the other hand, should be ranked higher.

Technical Analysis

This registrar has a high number of spammers and fake websites. The domain registration company seems to attract websites with low to very low trust ratings.

The company needs to find out who runs the Yosemite AP. Still, they claim that their team of leading global investment managers employs patented algorithms to assess companies before placing them on the platform to introduce a new class of assets to investors worldwide.

The “about us” section of the Yosemite AP’s website is ridiculous about regulatory compliance.

Yosemite AP provides referral commissions through a unilevel compensation structure in the MLM business.

In a unilevel compensation structure, an affiliate is put at the top of a uni-level team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed right beneath them (level 1):

  • If any level 1 affiliate acquires new affiliates, they are assigned to the original affiliate’s unilevel team at level 2.
  • If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are promoted to level 3, and so on, for an unlimited number of levels.

This MLM scam sets a limit of four paying unilevel team levels.

Affiliates are paid a percentage of funds invested at each of the four tiers, as shown below:

  • level 1 (personally recruited affiliates – 10%
  • level 2 – 6%
  • level 3 – 4%
  • level 4 – 2%

Joining Yosemite AP

Yosemite AP affiliate membership is free.

A minimum investment of $100 is required to fully participate in the linked income opportunity.

Conclusion

Yosemite AP, the Ponzi scheme involves investing in fake versions of real enterprises. It’s not unexpected, given that Seedchange, Yosemite EP, and AP are fictionalized versions of actual companies.

Yosemite AP is just recycling newly invested assets to repay current investors. As with other MLM Ponzi schemes, new investments will dry up once affiliate recruiting is exhausted.

This will deprive Yosemite AP of ROI revenue, resulting in a collapse. The mathematical structure of Ponzi schemes guarantees that when they fail, most investors lose money.
