It dates July 15th, 2005, when allegedly Naveesh Murthy met his old friend, inspector Vijay Singh, near the Sheriff’s office, at Basheerbagh (Hyderabad); after a chit-chat of households, ‘Singh’ took him to Adarsh Nagar. Little did Naveesh Murthy know, that the trusted friend sitting with him, sold his conscience for a mere, 10 lakhs. Allegedly, Ramana Murthy paid 10 Lakhs to Vijay Singh, in order to help him in the heinous act.
Intoxicated with 10 lakh, Vijay Singh, gave Naveesh an altered soft drink, which dozed him off. Soon after being befuddled Naveesh was in a dark room facing his death.

At last, with utmost precaution, the culprits buried Naveesh Murthy beneath the kitchen platform of Lingaiah’s rented house.
After several hours of planning, each one of them believed that none of them would ever get behind bars. Ramana Murthy Janaharsha’s Director had immense faith in his plot.
Naveesh Murthy was coated with sacks of sand and cement, but as it is said, truth can’t be coated with lies. In a month, the dead body started indicating its presence, with olfactory signs. The foul smell made neighbors complain to the authorities, which eventually led to revelations.

August 1, 2005, Monday morning police asserted that they were solving the murder mystery of Janaharsha’s former partner. Later, on the same day, Ramana Murthy Janaharsha’s present Director accepted in front of the media that he transgressed and taken revenge on Chaitanya.

Reportedly, the Sheriff of Cyberabad, M Mahendra Reddy confirmed that the weapons and explosives, detained from Ramana’s property on 29th June 2003, were supposedly for the War Naxalites.
According to the Sheriff’s statement, the explosives were to be collected by the PW and later were to be supplied to the Naxalites, but traitors tipped off the Naxals and therefore, they did not show up that day.
