An Overview of Charles Luther Manson
Charles Milles Manson was born on September 24, 1960, in the United States of America to Charles Milles Manson and Candy Stevens. He is 64 years old in 2024.
Charles was a father and a husband in several traditional family instances. Unfortunately, none of his relatives who were part of those relationships โ either his prior wife or offspring โ had a continuing relationship with him.
It was clear that they had little empathy for the convicted criminal. They were able to keep their identities hidden from the public, and not even the deaths of several of them, one of whom was Charles Manson’s second son, Charles Luther Manson, were reported in the media.
According to Charles Luther Manson’s profile summary, he was born in the 1960s to a sex worker from Los Angeles. Manson married Charles Luther’s mother in a false marriage to avoid prison time.

Charles Luther Manson’s Parents
Luther Manson’s parents met in the mid-1950s, when his mother was in her late youth, and married in 1959. Candy, his mother, used to be a street prostitute. She began working as her husband’s prostitute soon after they met, however, it’s unclear whether she was already in the business or if her husband pushed her to.
Luther’s father, on the other hand, was an American convicted felon and musician who led a homic*dal campaign with his supporters, the Manson Family cult and became one of the most renowned figures in criminal history.
Charles Manson married Charles Luther’s mother to avoid prison time
According to estimates, Luther’s mother was employed by Charles on the street somewhere in the mid-1950s. This is supported by reports and biographies.
Candy once falsely said she was expecting a kid in order to get her husband’s murderer off the hook. She promised that if the judge released him, she and Manson would marry and start a family.
Following his release from prison in December 1959, Charles drove Candy and a female companion from California to New Mexico. Unfortunately, they were caught by police, and the Manson family’s ringleader was charged with violating the Mann Act, which prohibits transferring women across state lines for immoral purposes.
Charles Luther’s Parents’ Fake Relationship
Manson attempted to marry Stevens after being imprisoned in an attempt to prevent her from testimony against him. Because women were not allowed to bear witness against their husbands at the time, he and Stevens’ parents married in 1959.
Leona testified against her then-husband, resulting in the latter going to jail once more. It appears she did this to have her own charges dismissed, so becoming a “material witness.”
Leona became pregnant with Charles Luther Manson’s child in the spring of 1960. She had her son and Charlie’s son in the autumn of the same year.
In January 1964, Leona and Manson’s union was formally dissolved and Candy was granted full legal guardianship of Luther.
Charles never met his father Charles Manson
It is not rare for a child to never meet their father, as was the situation for Luther, who was born while his father, Charles, was already in prison. Throughout his childhood, Charles was in and out of prison.
Charles was raised completely by his mother. It is possible that he had a wish to see his felonious father, but after knowing of the serious crimes he had committed, this was a thought he abandoned. Charles Luther may not have wanted to be linked with his father.
What Has Happened to His Mom, Candy Stevens?
Leona Rae Musser had very little contact with her ex-husband after the divorce. She reportedly fought hard to keep her son and herself out of the public spotlight and away from any recognition.
She hasn’t been in the news yet.
Candy Stevens, the ex-wife of criminal Charles Stevens, was born around 1940. She was a sex worker in Los Angeles, CA, and married Manson in the late 1950s, but the couple divorced in the early 1960s. They had one child together.
Luther’s late father married Afton Elaine Burton, a 26-year-old Illinois lady, in November 2014. On November 19, 2017, Luther’s father died.
Who are the siblings of Charles Luther Manson?
Jay White (formerly known as Charles Manson Jr.) was Luther’s half-brother. He was the son of Charles Manson’s first marriage to Rosalie Jean Willis.
Charles Luther Manson’s half-brother, Jay White was born to Charles Manson and his first wife, Rosalie Jean Willis. Jay White died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head in Burlington, Colorado in 1993. Biography is the source.
Charles White committed himself by shooting himself in the head in Burlington, Colorado in 1993. Jason Freeman, White’s estranged son, told CNN that he believed his father died because he was Manson’s son, despite the fact that White left no suicide note.
Jason grew up in a similar environment to his grandfather, spending time in juvenile detention centres, county jails, and eventually prison. He has lived a life devoid of criminal behaviour since then.
His Another Sibling
Valentine Michael Manson, Charles Manson’s third son, was born in 1968 to Mary Brunner, a UC Berkeley campus librarian who had dedicated herself to joining The Manson Family cult group. The birth took place at a residence in Topanga Canyon.

According to legend, Manson named his son Valentine in honour of the main character in Robert Heinlein’s novel Stranger In Strange Land.
Valentine’s life was not long-lived with his father’s name. In 1970, Mary’s parents applied to the court for Valentine’s guardianship, and the court approved their request. As a result, his name was changed to Michael Brunner. Michael, according to sources, thought his father was a bad person and was grateful to be raised by his grandparents in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Where is Charles Luther Manson now?
Luther was the most able at avoiding detection among Manson’s progeny. In 1976, he allegedly changed his name to Jay Charles Warner, in memory of his late half-brother. He died in 2007 at the age of 47, according to reports. Warner was described as a tall man with blonde hair and blue eyes.
