Earth2.io (Earth 2) is a website that lets you trade virtual land with real money. Thousands of people are flocking to this investment opportunity because of the aggressive marketing tactics being used by the developers.
For those who don’t want to read the whole review, here’s a summary:
Earth 2 is a Ponzi Scheme targeting young college students and graduates. Avoid it at all costs!
The main reason Earth 2 is gaining so much popularity is because of its extremely cheap minimum investment and affiliate marketers.
There are hundreds of influencers, college kids, and TikTokers promoting Earth 2 (Earth2.io) to their audience and asking them to use their affiliate code to sign up. This is extremely common in online investment & course scams like Private Label Masters.
In this Earth 2 review, I’ll uncover the truth behind this website and how its developers are scamming thousands of people. Let’s jump right into it.
Earth 2 Founder Details (Important)
Shane Issac is the founder of Earth 2. He makes impressive claims of having 20 years of experience in product development, management, and development. However, there is no proof for all his claims.
His oldest online presence is of his LinkedIn profile which has been online for only a few months.
Check out the report: Herbert J. Sims & Co, Inc.
Kind of sketchy right? Well, I did a thorough background check on Isaac and the results were quite interesting actually.
Shane started a company named TipeME Holdings Pty Ltd in 2018, however, this company is not mentioned anywhere by Earth 2’s team. This is most likely for privacy reasons in case Shane Isaac decides to run away with the money. Such a pattern is very common among Ponzi scheme scammers.
TipeMe Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN: 616210603) is located at 23 Agnes Street Birkdale, Queensland AU, and they recently filed a patent for a smartphone technology that encrypts user data. The patent was filed by Shelston Intellectual Property. Here’s an abstract of the patent:
For more details on the patent check out this page.
This information might seem useless to some people, however, it is important information for the people who have already invested in this scam. It will help keep track of Shane if he disappears with the money. I would suggest writing down the AIC and the company names just in case.
Shane is not the only one involved in this project, other interesting people in the team include Nathaniel Doldersum who is the lead game developer, and Dillion Seo, the co-founder of Oculus VR. Others include Wolfgang Walk, Ralf C Adam, Ferran Galvan, Steve Bennett, Samuel Dale, Stojce Slavkovski, Sebastiaan Fehr, and David Novakovic.
Lies In Promotions (Earth 2 Affiliate Program)
This might be the only critical review or report you are going to see of Earth 2 (Earth2.io).
Why?
Because Earth 2 has a very aggressive and profitable affiliate system, where influencers and bloggers earn a substantial commission from referrals. Every Earth 2 user is given their referral code, which gives a 5% commission to them. This 5% of cash comes out of thin air and there’s no mathematical explanation of how this will work without the company stealing money from other users.
This creates a massive network of affiliates that are currently flooding the internet with 5-star reviews and fake profit screenshots of Earth 2. This toxic culture can be best explained by a live example.
Quora
Open the image in a new tab to zoom
Here’s a popular Quora thread on Earth 2, and all the answers you’ll see here, promote Earth 2 as the best investment opportunity for 2021. But if you look closely, you’ll notice that they also share a referral code in their answers.
By the time you’re reading this, there will be about 20-50 more affiliate links of Earth 2 posted. Which shows how well this company is manipulating the masses. These “affiliates” don’t even understand that aren’t getting paid in real money, instead of with the in-game currency, which holds no value in real life.
This helps the Earth 2 executives bury any critical reports about the Ponzi scheme and helps them steal more money from people.
Matt Lorion: Accomplice In The Earth 2 scam
Lorion is shamelessly posting videos on Earth2.io. The videos are getting substantial views and are often viewed by people trying to find an honest Earth 2 review. But instead of an honest opinion, they’ll most likely get lies from Matt who just wants to get as many people as possible to use his referral code.
Please do not watch his videos on Earth 2. They are heavily influenced by the affiliate potential and his only objective with these videos is to get leads.
I don’t usually give personal opinions on such matters, but what Mr. Lorion is doing is plain horrible!
Medium
If you Google “earth 2 io”, you’ll see this Medium article on the 1st page of Google. It goes into detail about the platform and its benefits while never really covering its horrible withdrawal system or the shady operations.
But taking a close inspection reveals that this article is also dishonest. The author promotes his referral code 3 times in total and has the same objective as every other affiliate, which is to get as many leads as possible through his code.
This guy has taken it to the next level by dedicating a whole Medium account to promoting his referral code. It is very likely that this is his full-time job right now
Trustpilot
Trustpilot might be the most abused review site in the world. Companies love to post fake 5-star “user” reviews here to manipulate the ratings. However, Earth 2 isn’t doing that. It’s letting their users do the fake 5-star review thing themselves.
If you go on the Trustpilot listing of Earth 2 io, you’ll be fascinated by the number 5 star reviews. Here’s the catch though, literally 90% of these reviews have a referral code. I don’t think I need to explain further.
By now you might have one of two thoughts in your mind right now: 1) “What a horrible scam” or 2) “I should become an affiliate too, this is easy money!โ
If you have thought (1) in your head, then congrats, you are a good & moral human being. But if you are having (2) thoughts, then I have some bad news for you.
Earth 2 Affiliates Are Getting Scammed Too
The in-game currency is not technically real money, in other words, it is not a currency with actual conversion rates. It is just internet points or V-bucks. Like you purchase in-game currency (gold coins, etc.) to buy things in a game, this is exactly that.
Legally Earth 2 is just a game, so its in-game currency has zero value and they are not legally bound to give you any money (unlike a registered investment).
Isaac is one cunning bird.
Earth 2 pays its affiliates with the in-game currency, not actual money. This might not seem like a big deal to most people because the game gives you 1 in-game dollar for each 1 actual dollar. However, in reality, affiliates are earning in a non-existent currency with zero assurance of withdrawal.
People are already facing major issues in withdrawing on this website and the issue will just get worse as time passes.
If you are an Earth 2 affiliate, read this:
I hate to break it to you, but Shane Isaac made a fool out of you. Please donโt be offended, I just want to help you here. This is just a Ponzi scheme that will result in an Exit scam. Do not get involved with these con artists.

Unbiased Earth 2 Reviews & Customer Complaints (Must Read!)
All of these are real reviews of Earth2.io.
People are unable to withdraw their money from the website/game as the withdrawal procedure is deliberately made to be intricate and time taking.
However, youโll probably never get to see such reviews without digging deep into the rabbit hole. As the affiliates flood these threads with phony 5-star reviews/comments in hopes of getting some leads.
These people have lost their money permanently and thereโs nothing they can do about it now.
Earth2.io is legally free of any guilt as their ToS are carefully crafted for avoiding lawsuits and complaints.
These people are suffering, but you donโt have to do the same mistakes they did.
If you have already invested money on this website, then please attempt to withdraw your money. But donโt get your hopes high.
Easy Deposit But Needlessly Complex Withdrawal
Buying property on Earth 2 is very easy.
All you have to do is click on the โBuy Nowโ button and youโll get a prompt to pay through PayPal. Within a click, youโd have purchased something from Earth 2.
Now, if someone buys one of your properties, youโll get the funds in your Earth 2 account. Yes, not in your Paypal or your bank account but in the Earth 2 account.
To get your money, youโll have to write an email to Earth 2, give them all your personal details, including your Name, Account Number, etc. and wait for their response.
Now, itโs in their control whether they give you your funds or not.
No legit company does that. No one.
For example, letโs say you added some funds in your Amazon Pay wallet a while ago and want to withdraw them. Does Amazon ask you to write them an email with all your personal information? No, they process it immediately.
Earth 2.ioโs withdrawal process enhanced my suspicions further because of its complexity. Itโs one of the biggest red flags of them being fraud.
Deceptive Terms Of Services
The terms and services of a company can tell you a lot about its ethics and goals. Many shady companies bury their shady terms and services so you canโt find out what their true intentions are.
My suspicions about Earth 2 were proven right when I checked their T&Cs.
According to their terms and conditions, they donโt take any responsibility for the data presented on their website.
In other words, the developers can manipulate the value of any land to mislead and defraud people without any legal repercussions. This is literal fraud.
This means all the prices they show on their platform can be false. Youโd think you are investing in a certain investment while in reality, thereโs no guarantee of what youโll end up purchasing.
The whole website could be filled with lies and Isaac wouldnโt face any repercussions because of this clause:
Thatโs not all.
Their terms and conditions also allow them to shut down the company without informing their investors.
What does it mean?
It means they can close shop, keep all the invested funds, and vanish at any suitable time. Legitimate companies arenโt allowed to keep such clauses in their T&Cs as it puts the investors at extreme risks.
They wonโt notify you about shutting down their company, even though youโre a stakeholder so you canโt take legal action before itโs too late.
Finally, thereโs a final clause that says that Earth 2 is allowed to manipulate the prices present on its platform.
For a market provider, Earth2.io is not allowed to manipulate prices on its platform. SEC can take immediate action on this company simply for having this clause in their terms and conditions.
Itโs important to discuss these terms and conditions because most people donโt read these documents before signing up with a vendor like Earth 2. Scammers take advantage of this fact and keep dangerous clauses in their T&Cs to trap people like Shane has done here.
Isaacโs Earth 2 has too many shady terms and conditions that put you and your money at extreme risk. They allow Shane to keep your funds and close shop without notifying anyone.
Earth2.io is a Ponzi Scheme
By now, we know that Earth 2 io is a shady enterprise, and SEC’s guide strongly suggests, they truly are a fraud.
Here are SECs red flags of fraud:
No or Little Risk with High Investment Return
The biggest sign that the investment is a Ponzi scheme is the guarantees associated with it. All investments have risks. And as the risk of an investment increases, its potential reward increases accordingly.
For example, a 401k has minimum risk but its returns are far lesser than trading stocks. But trading stocks has a lot of risks too.
Investments that offer extraordinary returns with no or little risk are, therefore, scams. If the investment was really that amazing, why would the seller sell it? Wouldnโt they keep it to themselves and get rich?
Isaacโs Earth 2 has this trait. He makes plenty of big claims about its returns while assuring that it has minimum risk, indicating that itโs a Ponzi scheme.
Unregistered Investments
Another sign that investment is part of a Ponzi scheme is its registration status. Registered investments are stocks, bonds, ETFs, commodities, etc. They are the things you see on NASDAQ, London Stock Exchange, and other stock markets.
Unregistered investments are all the other things that donโt require legal registration. Earth 2 is selling unregistered investments in the form of interplanetary properties.
With an unregistered investment, you donโt have any legal assurance of its performance. It doesnโt fall under the watch of SEC or FINRA, so youโre left at the peril of the seller.
In most cases, an unregistered investment seller turns out to be a scam.
Unlicensed sellers
SEC says that a huge red flag is the lack of any license to operate as a financial services provider. When a service provider doesnโt have a license, it means they donโt comply with the rules and regulations of their industry.
It also means the company doesnโt meet the standards of the industry. SEC warns about unlicensed investment sellers and suggests avoiding them.
Earth 2 doesnโt have a license to operate as a financial services provider. So this is another huge indication of them being a scam.
Difficulty Receiving Payments (withdrawal)
If the service provider makes it difficult for you to get payments or process withdrawals, thatโs a huge red flag. They make it difficult to get your funds by introducing complexities or by ignoring your withdrawal requests altogether
As I pointed out earlier, Earth 2โs withdrawal process is very complicated, making it nearly impossible for you to get your funds.
Note how all of these red flags are present in Earth 2 ioโs services and conditions. I would recommend trusting the SEC’s opinion on this matter, after all, they are the industry watchdog.
Earth 2 (Earth2.io) Review Verdict 2021
Earth 2 is a scam!
After thorough research, there’s no doubt that Earth 2 is a horrible investment opportunity which is attempting to defraud youngsters. It’s microtransaction-type deposit method fools people into giving away their money. They are an unregistered and unlicensed investment. Their Terms of Services handicap the investors/players from taking any action against the company and the needlessly intricate withdrawal process discourages most people from even trying to get their money back.
Don’t ruin your 2021 with this terrible scheme.
Nov 15 2024. They were right. its been almost 6 months since i requested a withdrawal, Earth 2 has stopped responding to letters of demand, emails, and requests for tangible updates to the timeline when they intend to pay. Instead of paying fiat, they are now trying to offer their very own crypto token that costs them nothing, but is backed by very few community members.
I missed out on buying a house because of this.
You are the SCAM here ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Obvious scam. Earth2 produces no revenues, so any money you make in it MUST come from new investors, a classic ponzi. You can see this by the fact that properties are selling on their market at prices WELL below posted valuations (which are a complete fiction), meaning “investors” are willing to take huge losses just to get their money out.
It is currently (early 2022) still very difficult to withdraw money from your Earth2 account, while it’s very easy to add money into it. When you try to withdraw, you face a hurdle to suddenly document your identity, which the company justifies with KYC regulations (know your customer), even though they are not regulated in this manner, are not required to KYC, and, of course, don’t seem to care to KYC to TAKE your money, only to pay you. This makes it very easy for them to find an issue with your KYC documentation, deny your withdrawal, ban your account, and keep your money, a perfectly legitimate action as per their TOS.
Finally, there is no game, and never will be. Unless you consider clicking on square tiles on Google maps to count as a game.
Use Code FWAZ9ZMDTC for 5% off your purchase in Earth 2! I put in $250 – its just a game, but man, itโs fun!
2022 is about having fun, online safely. Only put money in you can afford to lose. Enjoy the game, and remember, it’s just a game!
I’ve been buying golf courses, casinos, waterfront property, its been a lot of fun!
Earth2 legitimately scammed me. I bought thousands and thousands of tiles. Then after making my purchases the company decided to “lock” my countries. This means that no more tiles could be sold in those countries, the tile price could never appreciate and I could never collect taxes. Locked country tiles also can not be sold in the marketplace.
This is very different than what the company had advertised prior to my purchases. Customer support and Shane have both ignored my messages for the past year. I have been given no form of compensation, not even an apology.
If that’s not a scam, then I don’t know what is….
IM NOT BIG INTO INFORMATION ONLINE BEING ACCURATE BUT IF I KNOW SOWTHING IS NOT RIGHT I SHOULD SAY SO. GREAT ARTICLE AS HE PASSED HIS MESSAGE ON CLEARLY AND PUNCUALE. EVERY THING HE MENTIOD AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER WAS A HICCOP IN A SMALL IDEA GIVEN TO THE VIRAL ATTACHED. NOW THE COMMUNITH OF EARTH 2 DONT REALLY GICE MUCH SLACK. THEY WERE ASKED TO IF INTRESTED BY TILES AN PRETTY JUST HOLD YOUR ASSES AND THAT WAS IT.NOT BEING INVESTERS THE CROWD MADE IT THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE BOMBING BEGAN. THEY WERE STRESSING AND BITCHING MOANING BUT AT THE SAME A LETTER ON THE SCREAN FLICKERD THEY WERE ON IT. IF THE INFERMATION WERE REALLY 100 NOT REAL THEN E2 PLAYERS WILL BE THE ONES WHO BREAK THE NEWS AND LET EVRYONE KNOW IT A SCAM BUT WE STAND AND SAY THE OPPISITE, THAT E2 IS CLEAN OF THESE ALAGATIONS IN EVERY WAY AND IT WILL NOT BE A YOUTUBER STUDYING A FEW VIDEOS FOR A BIT OF INFO BRINGING BREAKING NEWS ON E2.. THE COMMUNITY OPENED WEB PAGES DECATED TO ANYTHING THEY COULD GET A TASTE OF THE SPUN PUT WILD THERE MINDS AND CAME UP WHEN ALL ANGLES WERE CLEAN.IF THIS IS A SCAM THEN EVERY OTHER META VERSE PLATFORM SELLS FOR THOUSANDS ANS THEY ARENT CALLED SCAMS . THEY ARE WHAT THEY ARE AND THERE IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY .IF NOT THEN STEER CLEAR.
lol, scam hahha.look at the progress back 1 year. How many people are employed. Agreed work with the Polygon network, people from binance come to the platform. A whole team of developers is bought. Several updates are made. The payment is almost instant (except Canada and Korea). IF its scam they have oportunity to took the money a long time ago and disappeared. People forget that they invested in kickstarter and that if everything goes ok, e2 will come to life in 5-6-7 years.
Total bullshit review, no evidence, facts or proof. You went down the YouTuber path hard, who have all rescinded their earlier comments. This is actually libellous I hope they sue you.
Not bullshit or whatever. If they’re going to actually target EU they will get slammed down with a huge debt. Maybe even sent to jail. Cause everything they do is very illegal here.
put it this way bud, landmarks and buildings are copyrighted. How are they legally selling you these NFT’s of copyrighted landmarks? https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/copyright-architectural-photos.html WAKE UP!
Because they aren’t selling you landmarks or buildings, there are no buildings yet and will have to be user made at some point, all of the plots of land are empty right now…
Now I’m not saying it’s 100% proof nothing shady is going on but dude, the evidence presented here is basically non existing, it says that the owners are shady just because one guy didn’t have a linked in profile before, it says that the reviews are fake despite them being made by the users(even if a user gets something out of a product they still have the right to review it), it’s claimed that the data on the site is fake because there is some potentially iffy clause in the ToS without providing any evidence of any fake data. Look at any ToS they always have tons of we aren’t responsible for this or that or basically anything that can get us in trouble.
Again, I’m not saying that it’s 100% safe or not a scam, but with just the, basically non existing, evidence here calling it a scam is a huge stretch if I’ve ever seen one.
Per informazioni, aggiornamenti e novitร in italiano riguardanti Earth 2 vi cosiglio https://earth2italia.net
This “article” was horribly written and just absolutely inaccurate when it was written in January (unsurprisingly not removed from the site click click click). Still something that only people who watched a youtube video would use as a “legitmate” source from a site called “Gripeo”. Spoiler alert for high school graduates. Red flags include references to Quora, calling out individual youtubers as affiliates who aren’t even “affiliates”, misinformation in every sentence, implying malicious intent and boldly providing zero evidence, etc, organized down voting of any neutral/slightly positive comment.
I’m honestly shocked that those who would use this as a legitimate source of information can even read. I’d guess nothing more than confirmation bias. Good news though – if you’re even mildly interested in the platform and don’t want to spend money – stay tuned free to play in phase 3. Just wait.

Earth Investments is a scam!
They are an unregistered and unlicensed investment. Their Terms of Services handicap the investors/players from taking any action against the company and the needlessly intricate withdrawal process discourages most people from even trying to get their money back. 21 July 2021
We are aware that scammers are targeting consumers searching for investments online, in particular through search engines like Google and Bing. Although some scammers offer high returns to tempt you into investing, they may also offer realistic returns to make their offer appear more legitimate. Those offering or promoting products or investment opportunities found through search engines are not necessarily authorised or regulated by the FCA. You can check the FCA Warning Listย for firms to avoid.
How to protect yourself
Most firms promoting and selling investments are not authorised by the FCA.
You should only deal with financial services firms that are authorised by us, and check our Register to ensure they are.
If you use an unauthorised firm, you will not have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service or Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)ย if things go wrong.
While we donโt regulate the sale of earth investments or their markets, we do regulate certain types of exchange contracts (often called โfuturesโ), and a firm must be authorised by us to promote or sell them in the UK โ check our Register to make sure the firm is authorised. You can also check our Warning List of firms to avoid.
The sale of earth investments may be part of a futures contract if you buy it for investment rather than commercial purposes and the physical asset is not delivered to you within seven days of agreeing to the purchase (eg if you agree to buy the stock wholly to make money when you sell them, but the stock have not even been mined).
We can only take action over earth investments when itโs promoted or sold as a futures contract without our authorisation.
Always be wary if youโre contacted out of the blue, pressured to invest quickly or promised returns that sound too good to be true.
You should seriously consider seeking financial advice or guidance before investing. You should make sure that any firm you deal with is regulated by us and never take investment advice from the company that contacted you, as this may be part of the scam.
The Money Advice Service has information on investing and aboutย how to find a financial adviser. Alternatively, you could get further information from a group that represents advisers such asย PIMFA.
Read more about how to find an adviser. ย
If you have been scammed
You can report the firm or scam to us by contacting our Consumer Helpline on 0800 111 6768 or using ourย reporting form.
Because rare earth metals are not regulated by the FCA, your investment is not protected by the UKโs Financial Services Complaints and Compensation Scheme.
However, if your investment was a futures contract, we can take action.
If you have already invested in a scam, fraudsters are likely to target you again or sell your details to other criminals.
The follow-up scam may be completely separate or related to the previous fraud, such as an offer to get your money back or to buy back the investment after you pay a fee.ย
If you have any concerns at all about a potential scam, contact us immediately.
Wrong artcile my friend. This is about Earth.io not Earth Investments. Two completely different companies
they dont refund, anything you invest, its their. add refunds so it will become no scam ! To the while they will add refund possibility, Ifeel like being scammed for the 130$ invested.
One of the worst platforms to ever exist. They sell virtual properties and charge you real money for it. They claim you’ll be earning money through those properties but it depends on them what the price of that property would be. Earth 2 has scam written all over it.
I bet this company will vanish from the horizon within a few years. They’ll be in headlines for running away with millions of dollars.
Cr1tiKal’s video brought me here. I’m surprised to see so many people can even believe a company like earth2. They need to watch Charlie’s video on this company and then start spending their money. The video is titled ‘Another Scam’ if anyone’s wondering what he thinks of this.
The thing that bothers me the most is that Earth2 is targeting us gamers. They think we are some kind of fools.
Yooo, I didn’t expect to find another Cr1tiKal fan here. To be honest, I couldn’t believe people are still falling for scams like this. It’s a crypto platform that sells virtual properties for virtual money that you buy through real money…yeah it’s a scam. Companies like these make us gamers look bad. earth 2 should shut down imo.
The fact that their social media teams never actually say what Earth2 is in their comments set off alarm bells for me. They don’t say it’s for VR or what purposes any of it serves, just some rubbish along the lines of “Earth2 is a project, and sure does have some people working on it!”
That and there is a further lack of information about it anywhere else, it seemed dodgy from the start.
Squoger gives it 0.5/5
Earth 2 is one of the many MMO scams we see these days. Scammers have figured out that it’s too difficult to scam adults so they are targeting kids now. Just check out Charlie’s video on these guys. He couldn’t even believe kids are buying into nonsense like this. I have checked out their platform and even signed up there to see if they were worth it. TLDR: Earth 2 isn’t worth it. It’s most definitely a scam
What an absolute garbage review. Was this written by a 12 year old? Regardless of the โgamesโ legitimacy or not, this article actively made me lose brain cells.
You’re a gay faggot, and this comment is allowed because there’s no disclaimer saying to follow any community guidelines or be polite.
Cunt.
If you support this gig, then I doubt you had any brain cells to begin with, let alone lose them lol

I don’t think earth2.io is at fault much. It’s a sincere effort by a group of people to create a virtual land-owning experience. It’s the affiliates who are ruining everything. Before reading this earth2 review I found an article that said earth2 is a great long-term investment. I mean, it’s a game, not an investment firm. Companies should seriously put in some effort into picking their affiliates. These affiliates are promoting their links like crazy so they can get a few extra bucks. And these people don’t even hesitate to lie. Beware of those earth2 reviews guys, not all of them are legit.
Earth 2 is posing as a game so it can scam kids. They know their target audience well that’s why they are posing as a game because they know kids aren’t that smart. The website is filled with ambigiously to confuse you about whether it’s a game or a real investment opportunity. At some place they tell you that you can ‘buy’ virtual land there. Then at another place, they tell you that you’d earn advertisement revenue from those properties, like yeah, I get it.
Look at Defi100 people. They just ran away with millions and all their clients can’t do anything about it. That’s the thing with blockchain and crypto. It’s so unregulated that there’s too much room for fraudsters to grow there. Earth2.io is posing as a game so it can get your money and then vanish without having any financial liability. If you “buy” virtual land, wouldn’t you want its ownership for as long as possible? Think with your brains kids, not with your controllers.
Earth 2 is a scam. I have been trying to get my money out of there but for some reason, I can’t. These people are thieves. Don’t use their service!!
Their customer support is horrible. I sold a property and wanted to withdraw. Still waiting.
Use code 9TTT7XTGT5 for the maximum possible discount, don’t be fooled with promises from Earth2 users who claim you can get 20% off. 5% is the maximum.
You can now buy your own property from a map online even though it doesnโt really exist.
Iโm currently buying and selling pretend properties, that are increasing in value, and will eventually only โproperlyโ exist in virtual reality… no, I havenโt gone mad.
The reasoning:
26 years ago I got pretty excited when I set up my first business on the internet. Many around me dismissed it as a fad. Having set up and run several internet businesses since then, I disagree.
4 years ago I got pretty excited when I bought my first cryptocurrency. Many around me dismissed it as a bubble. Now holding over a dozen currencies, all currently in profit, I disagree.
2 months ago I got pretty excited when I bought my first โpropertyโ at earth2. It plans to be the default virtual reality platform for the planet – this phase is purely financing its future.
Many are saying itโs a scam. Early days I know, but I strongly disagree.
If you do invest in Earth2.io, only invest money that you can ABSOLUTELY afford to lose. You can currently get MULTIPLE 5% discounts by using the code 9TTT7XTGT5 when buying your properties.
Itโs also a very simple process, unlike cryptocurrency!
By the way, I wouldnโt necessarily buy your own house or favourite pub/restaurant as many are doing, the big players are concentrating on high traffic areas.
Some countries such as the USA are being bought up fast, so property that was bought months ago for 10 cents is now over $50. I recommend looking at the developing world for cheaper prices. Use code 9TTT7XTGT5 for the maximum possible discount.
Immagine subscribing to the World of Warcraft by paying 12.99 each month with real money. Then after a year of playing, imagine asking back the money you have “invested” during those 12 months – 156. Would the developers give you the money back? Would you then say that it was a scam all along?
Just because you don`t understand something, or you don`t have a vision of what the project could offer in 10 years, doesnt mean it is a scam.It means you are stupid for thinking this was an investment (which wasnt), for lisetning to other (stupid) people who told you this was an investment, and for expecting you were going to make money out fo something you barely understood what it is.
Doesn’t give you the right and put dirt on something which you don`t fully understand.
The developers never stated this was an investment opportunity. Its just a GAME which huge potential
If the servers of World of Warcraft suddenly disappear, and the game is no longer available, would you all start shouting it was a scam all along and expect to be refunded all the money you have put into the game?
I dont think so.
Y`all seriously need to stop and think with your own brains before you part ways with your own money. Its all your own fault if you mishandled your finances without actually knowing what you are getting into in the first place.
The difference is World of Warcraft would have provided the service it advertised for those 12 months and fulfilled it’s end of the deal, while Earth 2 promises a game sometime in the future which people are paying for now disguised as ‘investing’ in property. The two are completely incomparable.
No, no one would shout WoW was a scam because they never posed as an “investment”. But yeah, if WoW’s servers were to vanish randomly, like Defi100 did, people would go after Blizzard, the company who owns the game to get some financial compensation.
Does WoW says you should buy land there and sell it to make real money? I don’t think so. But Earth2.io is doing that.
People would obviously be skeptical of something that is 1) unregulated 2) difficult to get your money from 3) is way ambiguous about its nature.
Stop living in your mom’s basement and start making some financial decisions for yourself. You don’t seem like someone who deals with real money. If you did, you’d know its value.
You lack the braincells to understand marketing, MLM, and video games.
Feeling sorry for you man.
Earth 2 is legit alright. A legit scam.
You’re telling me I can buy virtual properties for pennies and sell them for profit and all through a VR-based game?! OMG, I thought that was a thing of the future.
Of course I would want to spend my hard-earned money on virtual properties in a VR game where there’s no information on how to withdraw my money. I would love to spend my money on a marketplace whose prices are controlled by one company and not the company itself. Please take my entire wallet! Please I’m begging you.
Sike.
These guys are dumb if they think they can scam me like this.
Just wanted to clear the air a little bit. Been following this project nearly daily since Dec, 2020. Mountains of evidence now exist that this project is clearly not a scam.
A big issue to many people who may be interested in this is that the devs are hardly transparent on current issues or the details of what they are working on. A little bit of transparency, quick and easy fixes, and full attention on manual cash withdrawals would vastly increase their short-term sales. I see that they are not focusing on these short term issues as evidence that they are going full steam ahead on development of the actual 3D product.
E2 has released only 3 videos on YouTube since November, barely spent a dime on advertising through Facebook, and rarely make an appearance in any social media to hype their product. Virtually all the hype and “marketing” have been done by interested investors/ players without any endorsement from E2 devs.
The amount of money you can make investing now is also purely from other interested investors/ players speculating on what people can do with virtual land in the future and what the market will be like then. While E2 has control over the tools well get to develop the virtual world, how much money we can make from it is almost entirely up to other users. So it is pretty difficult to rate E2 on risk to reward ratio, reliability, and ROI at this point.
If art is worth 60-Million why not Paris or Ireland or Venice?
If the NFT that sold for 60 Million this makes Earth 2.0 the best deal on earth!
What is Bitcoin a random 36 number
Waht is eath2.0 a specific 10×10 meter. I prefer a GPS coordinates. Its mine!
what a goddamn cretin
I can’t believe people still fall for these scams. Like, don’t they realise if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is?
If it was really this easy to make money everyone would be hoping onto such schemes and MLM companies would have been the the biggest companies on the planet. I think scammers like Earth2.io specifically target young and desperate people because they know they are the easiest to manipulate.
Young people don’t know any better and desperate people just want a solution for their problems. Shame on these guys, for real.
Some people don’t want to believe that Earth 2 is a scam because they are afraid. They don’t want to see the truth as it would mean they have lost hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
Just because something uses VR, doesn’t mean it’s a scam. I mean c’mon people, you can’t ignore the evidence. Anything that seems too good to be true is a fraud. The terms of service Earth 2 has, is enough to suggest they are aimed towards manipulating other people.
They provide a marketplace where they are free to change the prices shown on the website. Do you even understand this means?
It means they can charge you whatever they want and you’d happily pay them because it’s a game. I have never seen a more depraved logic than this one.
Earth 2 is pretending to be a VR game so it can loot you. You’d think you are doing real transactions and making money, while it’s all for show. Someone in the comments pointed out that the co-founder of Oculus Rift is also a part of Earth 2. Just because a person had a credible past, it doesn’t justify their present activities.
It only means they are using their credibility as an Oculus Rift co-founder to rip off people like you, who can’t distinguish between a piรฑata and a horse. God help us.
There is so much wrong with Earth2.io, I can’t even begin to explain the issues.
First, some of its fanatics claim that it’s the next Bitcoin. That seems like the dumbest argument to defend Earth 2, because if it really was Bitcoin, people wouldn’t be losing money left and right.
I lost thousands of dollars last week on Earth 2. Those who are promoting Earth 2, don’t realise that the scam is not about “making money”. It’s about keeping it from you.
You can spend thousands of dollars on their platform and these guys wouldn’t care because they don’t let you withdraw a single penny you make on Earth 2.
I have sent them emails, messages, and God knows how many requests but I only get automated replies. There isn’t much you can do once you have given your money to these people. If only I had known that the customer support of this firm was like this, I wouldn’t have dared to spend so much of my funds on this platform. Once you make a deposit there, you can’t get your money back.
Even though buying virtual tiles on Earth2 can be considered an investment, the platform is primarily a game. There are mechanisms for how you can get a return on your investment, but at this stage, such a return would depend only if you find someone who is willing to buy your virtual land for a higher price. The game has mechanisms to support such sales, which can provide a false illusion that this is an investment. Earth2 is primarily a game. Investing in it is like buying NTF or real art from an unknown artist and thus very risky.
I’ve joined the game recently because I really like what the devs promise, but I also have doubts that they can deliver to these promises. There are people who bought early for really cheap prices and now they are cashing out on the second wave of players, which would be a Ponzi scheme. But I don’t believe that is the game’s intent.
The game chooses this way as a kind of crowdsourcing for their platform. If you invest in it, by buying some land, you support their development. Before doing so, you should consider if the concept has potential.
What other comments have said is correct. There was some, but not big progress in the recent months. The team is fairly small so far and we have only clues how the game dynamics will work and no timeline.
We know that the developers have worked on the D.R.O.N.E. game with an appealing landscape and building editor called d.r.o.n.e arena editor. If something similar will be in Earth2 and how it will link to other game parameters like Essence, EPLs (property URLs), Resource mining we don’t know yet.
We should also consider the competition in the virtual world and VR space. We have Facebook Horizon emerging, many games for example Roblox which are on the similar principle that you build a virtual land.
I don’t think that you are required to have any SEC license in case you operate a platform trading virtual land. It would be good to have some consent from SEC, but we can’t expect that at this stage of the game.
You can doubt whether Earth2 will be successful, but it’s unlikely that it’s a scam – see https://earth2.guide/blog/is_Earth2_a_scam/. The main argument from my side, that Earth2 is legitimate si that the established mapping service mapbox list the on the showcase page (https://www.mapbox.com/showcase) between IBM and KFC (picking companies known to everybody).
Thank you whoever wrong this Earth2.io review. I can’t thank you enough. I was going to borrow funds from my friends to invest in this stuff but it seems like it’s a scam. You’ve saved me.
My kid lost thousands of dollars because of this scam. These people are vicious devils trying to lure young people into buying useless stuff that probably doesn’t even exist. When my kid told me about all this, I was horrified.
Companies like this should be shut down and people running such operations should be thrown behind bars. Playing with other people’s lives and finances shouldn’t be a game like these people are making it out to be.
I have tried contacting their company about my kids’ lost funds but I don’t get any responses. I hope this review will help others realise the true nature of Earth 2 and its dangers.
EARTH 2 DOESN’T GIVE REFUNDS (PLEASE REFUND)
Earth 2 is scamming people. They DON’T let you withdraw your money. I’ve been waiting for my withdrawal for several weeks. I’ve been emailing Earth 2 support and they haven’t responded.
Do not trust the 10/10 reviews here, they are all probably posted by the Earth 2 staff who would do anything to get you to “invest” on their platform. They have no morals, do not listen to these con-artists.
Well for those skeptics out there CC withdrawals are now live and users are receiving their funds within 24 hours.. https://www.e2.news/post/credit-card-payments-verified-already.. you can ask users in discord and see for yourself..
Earth 2 support is now better and backlogged Bank Withdrawals are being processed quicker.. withdrawals now require 2fa code which helps security for accounts..
Yeh, except that it doesnโt work. After days of โpengingโ it gets canceled with no explanation. Automated response when you create a help desk ticket, suggesting you make sure your bank isnโt blocking the payment and will accept US currency. I spoke to my bank, they donโt block payments and they have never heard of needing to accept US currency? it doesnโt even make sense to say that.
DONT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS YOUR MONEY
Everyone else here says otherwise…

Day by day, i start to realise that this Earth is nothing more than a fishy business. These so called โproffesionalsโ had 3 months to prepare for the so much shouted โDUBAI / UAEโ release, but yet they failed big time. Seriously folks, their lead engineer does not have proactive thinking? It was very obvious that players will storm at the moment of the launch, they had 3 months to setup proper servers and backups in order to make sure that everything goes smooth.
When the big launch came, surprise: servers down! And of course, they play the innocent card. If youโre thinking outside the box, this โservers downโ think was nothing more than a huge benefit for them. Why? Iโll eplain my personal experience. I had preselected a tinly lot of 16 tiles, somewhere over UAE location https://prnt.sc/10s69eb and i clicked โbyโ at second 1 after countdown. At second 2, servers were down.
After several refresh, i still could not purchase the desired lot, as you can clearely see here: https://www.loom.com/share/a2a175167d8048e491ec3efed877d3ca?fbclid=IwAR36Co4SFgLSkKOl0m7f2HxG-r-e_mQPm70wjr83WvfTBAqkAe4hpJ1mtFo
Done another refresh. Then, surprise: servers down again! To my surprise, when they were back on, the entire area where i planned to purchase, was already bought, in big lots of 300+ tiles! Seriously, how can someone (a real human) to buy 300+ lots in 2-3 seconds after the servers were back on? This is way too fishy , in order to be able to swallw the bull**its that Shane & co are serving to us.
Obviously, there were bots involved, like this: https://prnt.sc/10s6dfg and many many others. But the fun part comes now: iโm 99% sure that those bots were deliberately allowed at the moment of DUBAI / UAE. You may wonder why? Itโs all about MONEY! These greedy wan*ers were aware that if they allow honest players to buy UAE lots, a manโs ability to perform several actions within seconds itโs close to 0. By several actions, iโm reffering that, after the servers went back on, the play had to search for the area on the map, select the tiles, click buy, etc. These actions obviously canโt be done within few seconds (under 10).
So, by allowing ONLY honest players to buy land, they would not get the price per tile hype up enough to skyroket their profitsโฆ
The solutions (own bots, distributed to certain key people of their own), which to be preset to buy land at miliseconds, so that this ensures a very rapid increase of price per tile, so that the remaining โfoolsโ have no other choice but to by much expensive.
Of course, theyโll play the innocent card, as always. This is convenient for them, as their hands are not dirty (directly). They were aware 3 months before UAE, about the fact that people reported them several โbots involvedโ situations, and yet, they have done NONE about this. Why would they play the โbook of fairnessโ ? Thereโs no point to sabotage huge profits, after all, ya? So they let the bots go wild, then play the โoh, weโre sorry, we did not expected that, itโs a shame, but we canโt do anything to correct the situationโ.
While their accounts filled up with lots of $$$ from the โfoolsโ who put their snouts on this fishy thing called E2.
Iโm not complaining about the experienced situation, but the whole thing itโs nothing more than a dissrespectfull mockery agains the honest players.
Fortunately, my wifeโs games world related vlog gained ground over the last year, so iโll make sure that herโs over 600.000+ followers will find out in the next material about this mockery which E2 became.
https://vimeo.com/475509594
do you know how that you can select tiles, refresh a 1000 times and still when the page refreshes your tiles would already be selected ? ๐ plus you didnt have to select tiles before the moment the countdown ends ๐ you can select the tiles, press pay with balance and all whats left is to click yes after the countdown ends ๐ so you could literally buy 1 millisecond after the timer ends :), plus dubai being bought by bots fromtheir own company makes 0 sense, as the more higher price per tile means less people would buy, duh, which means them buying tiles for themselves would do them more harm than good.
and the whole they werent ready thing was explained and it makes a lot of sense should they have been ready yes definetly, but is it possible to not be ready? yes.

Look well at the date this is published and go check what happened in the last 24h on Earth2.
Either scammers or total incompetents. Not a matter of interpretation or lack of vision, just simple facts.
Go on all their social platforms and just check, you’ll see the mess with your own eyes.
Yeah just like Bitcoin was a scam, how did that work out for you. Oh thats right now the governments of the world and banks alike are all jumping in on the scam. VR is the future of the global government for the slave populations, get in on the ride or get left in the dust counting your worthless dollars.
Earth2.io is going to be amazing. Anybody that thinks is a Ponzi can avoid it, that’s fine.
I am going to keep investing in property.
No, you can’t have my referral code.
Yes, I still think you should go read into Earth 2 for yourself.
Don’t miss this opportunity ๐
Bitcoin seemed silly at first as well.
Is this really a scam? Me and my friends were excited to make some money off it, but I wanna confirm if this is a scam or not before I make any decision.
Impossible to tell. I have earned “money”, only about 5% so far, not the %10000 they fool you in to believing, but not nothing. Took 2 weeks for them to verify my ID to withdraw, but it did finally actually happen.. I haven’t tried to withdraw any money yet, I’ll keep you posted.
Honestly, I won’t risk any money on this website, they seem way too sketchy. Avoid it fam.
Oh okay, thanks for your help!
Hi,
We are putting together a class-action lawsuit against Earth Version 2 Pty Ltd, Earth 2 UK Limited, and Shane Isaac et, al.
We’ve been investigating Earth2.io for some time now, and the evidence strongly suggests that Mr. Shane Isaac et, al. has malicious intentions with this company.
It is being marketed as an investment opportunity to young adults while on paper it doesn’t even identify as an investment. There are many manipulative lies and contradictory claims being told in the PR statements of Earth2.io. We can’t reveal too much as of now because of the confidential nature of the matter, but once the lawsuit is filed, all will be revealed.
If you are a victim of the Earth 2 io scam, then please contact us on
Jo********@pr********.com
. This email is exclusively for evidence, testimonials & inside tips on the Earth 2 lawsuit. Please do not try to threaten is us into backing out, it will be wasted efforts.
We want to request the website admins for permission to the usage of this post as evidence, as it is a comprehensive document, which might prove useful in our case.
We’ll take further action as we get more information and testimonials from the victims. Don’t worry, the wait won’t be long.

Please check your Inbox, I’ve sent an email to you guys, hope it helps in busting this scam. I’ve lost 1k to these scammers!
Sent an email with the screenshots of my email threads with Earth 2. I’ve been waiting for my withdrawal for ages now. I’m not from a rich country and I need that money, but these guys are not letting me have it. The scam must stop. I’m sorry for the bad English, it is not my first language.
So you post this without even stating YOUR REAL NAME or LOCATION and you’re asking people to send their information to a generic email inbox for you to document? And you’re calling Earth 2 a scam? At least they had the balls to show their faces and put their names to what they are doing.
If you really want to save people from this then why can’t you “reveal too much as of now because of the confidential nature of the matter” ? Makes no sense at all
I wouldn’t be surprised if the people who sent mail will be asked for money to pay for the lawsuit ๐
It’s a perfect scam as it is targeting the gullible pseudo-intellectuals who like to think they are “ahead of the curve”.
Just look at the commentators who are saying “oh it is not a scam, it is a game, idiot!”
Read the article, look at the evidence, and use some common sense.
Earth2.io claim to combine MULTIPLE triple A titles into one single game. They don’t give any practical explanations about how they plan to execute this. And anyone with half a brain should realize that an actual video game with the kind of features they claim to provide, will result in hundreds of GBs in size, so even if they somehow make the game, 95% of the people who’ve bought properties there, won’t be able to play it. You’ll need a seriously powerful PC rig to play such a game.
These are smart scammers who understand that youngsters would fight on the internet on their behalf if someone tries to expose the truth about Earth 2 io.
About the Dillion Seo affiliation. Just check out MLM scams, they are often endorsed by big businessmen and celebrities. QNET and Amway are some names that come to mind.
If you read carefully, then you’ll see that Dillion is only an “adviser” in this project.
Not a scam. The original poster just seems like they had no idea what the project was about.
Iโve had 3 withdrawals…yes cash in bank.
The project blew up, and caused a wave of early withdrawals as people made cash.
It took them over a month to start catching up processing these payments.
Youโll see tons of evidence of this on the fb and the discord.
Someone will post…..whahhhh itโs a scam …then after they get questioned, itโs usually found out that they either sent in wrong info. Or are within the 4-6 week waiting time for withdrawal.
So tell me, did you even look further at who else is part of the Earth.io team? What about Dillon Seo who was a Co-Founder of Oculus VR, a company ultimately acquired by Facebook for $2 billion is also part of this game as an Advisor.
Please enlighten me why Dillon Seo would risk his reputation on this game if it was a scam\ponzi scheme?
Iโm a property developer and one of my personal rules is to never invest into intangible goods. However I love this concept of the game. To experience a game like ready player one? Who isnโt. Did I spend money on the game? Yes. Am I looking to make millions off this game as an investment? No. Iโm in it for the fun. Iโve already spent a few K, that may seem a lot to some, but for me its just having fun and Iโm going along for the ride. Weโll see where this goes.
So many fake reviews , They try to hook influencers in this , it’s kinda skeptical + that referral system doesn’t make much sense . I will try to research about this deeply , I don’t recommend to spend more than $100 in this becoz chances of it being a scam is prety high.
I am not gonna share a code. All I know is that this is a kickstarter project that didn’t even try to be kickstarted at all.
The founder is not in it for the money, the team is insanely skilled and WELL KNOWN in the industry, I definitely do not get why writing false accusations like that is a thing you’d do.
Yes, it might be badly organized at the moment, but it’s not a scam at all.
A lot of users sold their land in a scare-frenzy, but those are the same users joining to make a quick buck and totally missed the point of the platform: a new generation of gameplay.

I’m afraid your just too noob to the game and don’t quite fully understand it yourself but the looks of it. Yes there are 1000’s of stupid people on both sides who both over promote and hate on this e2 platform. Some tout it as a get rich scheme. Some just sulk because they like yourself are not on the leaderboard. The scam you speak of does not exist. The game is a complex one Yes and 99.9% of people are missing the mark already. Forget the word investing as I hate that word being thrown around with e2. Instead just take it for what it currently is. A crowd funded game with potential and a lot of vision. Yes it can 100% still fail….. But it might not!!
