A Nightmare
The advisors at Gential Financial are probably the worst financial advisors in Wisconsin. I don’t know who thought they deserve to be rated the best. My experience with their advisors has been nothing short of horrible. Their advisors never respond in a timely manner to any of my calls or queries. I have been their customer for quite some time and to get such treatment from them is insulting. Client service is something their advisors have no idea of. You can find many financial advisors in Wisconsin and you surely don’t need to hire these people. In my opinion, Gentian Financial should start working on themselves soon otherwise they will start losing all of their clients. If you can avoid them, then please do so. That would be much better than giving these people a try.
Never Respond on Time
I can’t recall the times I have been told to wait because my advisor is busy or on another call. It happens frequently and it makes me feel as if I’m the most expendable customer they have. It’s as if it doesn’t matter to them whether I remain their client or not. If it were up to them, they wouldn’t even meet with me or talk to me on the phone. Their advisors would rather sit on a beach than help their client make some financial decisions. Many times, I have to try multiple times to get through to my advisor. They never respond to my calls and sometimes, they even miss my appointments. It is so infuriating that I can’t explain my anger in words.
What is the role of a financial advisor?
For payment, a financial advisor offers clients financial assistance or recommendations. Financial advisors, often known as advisers, offer a wide range of services, including investment management, tax preparation, and estate planning.
I even sent an email to Gential Financial’s leadership about the horrible treatment I’m receiving from their staff but they didn’t care enough to respond there. When your wealth advisor doesn’t care to respond punctually, you start to think that you shouldn’t even do business with them. Why would you pay someone who doesn’t respect you? After all, I’m a person with dignity and self-respect. My advisor at Gentian Financial doesn’t listen to me during phone calls. It seems as if their entire staff is full of careless people. Either they have a horrible work culture or they don’t care about their clients. In both cases, it’s bad for the clients.
I’m trapped with them but I don’t want anyone else to make the mistake I made. If you’re someone looking to hire a financial advisor, then avoid doing business with Gentian Financial. Their advisors would waste your time and handle your account very carelessly. I haven’t seen such careless behaviour anywhere else. Maybe such carelessness is unique to this firm. I have already told my friends and family about the pathetic services I receive from these people. Then I thought why shouldn’t I share my experience with other people.
They claim to give a “more meaningful perspective on managing wealth” to clients. However, when your financial advisor doesn’t even pick up your calls, how would they give you their “meaningful perspective”? I expected Gentian Financial to offer me excellent services but instead I got rubbish. They claim to be trusted wealth leaders on their website, which in my opinion, is an example of their arrogance. When you’re so arrogant that you become a self-proclaimed leader, you should stop and self-reflect for a while.
I hope Gentian Financial will take my criticism seriously. They didn’t care enough to respond to my emails before so I don’t know how they will respond to my review. But until they improve their services, I can’t recommend their services to anyone. You should stay away from Gentian Financial.

Gentian Financial is a wealth management firm based in Mequon, Wisconsin. Their address is 12740 N River Rd, Mequon, WI 53092. They claim to offer high-quality wealth management services but their staff is rude and arrogant. As a client, I can’t recommend their services to anyone. They are affiliated with Raymond James, a prominent financial advisory company. I believe Raymond James should end their affiliation with Gentian Financial in response to this complaint. Those people are putting a bad name to the wealth management industry through their arrogance and carelessness.
