Dr. Candice Matthews claims that she received an honorary doctorate. However, it’s a false claim. More on this below.

Dr. Candice Matthews Defrauded the Parents of A Special Needs Child

A tip on Dr. Candice Matthews and allegations made by the family of a 7-year-old special needs child was given to Aubrey R. Taylor Communications by Noel Munoz, a guy claiming to be a “CITIZEN REPORTER” from New York. Additionally, Mr. Munoz asserts that Quanell X was involved in the plot, by the family. The accusations were made by Mr. Munoz on behalf of Dr. Candice Matthews and Quanell X’s family over the phone yesterday. TIPSTER:

I’m calling about Dr. Candice Matthews, and my name is Noel Munoz. I’m phoning on behalf of the family of Kendrick Davis Jr., so that’s why,” Noel Munoz said.  In November 2021, Quanell X and Dr. Candice Matthews were hired by the parents of Kendrick Davis Jr. The family paid Quanell $1,500.00 for services that were meant to include protests, media attention, and inquiries into what occurred to Kendrick Davis Jr., a disabled 7-year-old who was assaulted at his school. He had been assaulted by a teacher at the school in October 2021.

1/12/2023 Update
As of now, Dr. Candice Matthews has not responded, nor has she apologized for her misdeeds. She has ignored our efforts to highlight the problems faced by her victims. Furthermore, she has only focused on propagating her fake PR.

PURPOSE OF THE CALL

The family has not received the services they were promised, claims Noel Munoz. He said that the child’s parents are Brittney Leveston and Kendrick Davis and that they are not currently represented by attorneys. Munoz said that the family thinks Quanell X and Dr. Candice Matthews planned to deceive them.

A Montgomery County counselor was fired after being seen acting violently against a student with special needs. However, the mother of the 7-year-old tells that she wants more than just termination.

The mother from Montgomery County claims that the incident that was captured on tape constituted a crime against her kid, age 7, and she wants both the counselor’s position and her freedom terminated.

The footage speaks for itself. My son is being attacked by this woman, as you can obviously see,” claims Brittney Leveston.

When Montgomery County ISD representatives explained to the family what transpired to their 7-year-old special needs kid at Madeley Ranch Elementary, the surveillance video Leveston is referring to was captured off the screen.

“I’m simply upset and offended. Leveston laments, “I can’t believe he had to go through that.

The second-grader and the special needs counselor may be seen on the video alone in a room. He was being separated from another student, it was explained to the mother, and the counselor was with him because “she was there to assist him with coping strategies.”

If that’s the case, why, asks Leveston, does the video then show the counselor approaching her 7-year-old after he has been by the room door for eight minutes, seemingly trying to start a fight? Leveston claims that her kid is seen trying to toss the counselor the tape that he had just picked up off the floor, and the counselor and the 7-year-old fight on the floor for a while.

And then you see this woman physically abusing this kid on the video. We’re talking about a little boy child here. This person is not an adolescent. She was permitted to do this for a considerable amount of time, even though you shouldn’t do this to children who are 11 or 12 years old. This lasted for more than simply two or three minutes. I’ve watched a lot of videos, but this one is the worst I’ve ever seen. Quanell X, a community activist, says.

“She treated him like he was nothing more than rag doll trash. He was very upset, and you can see where her nails dug into his skin. Adds Leveston.

“She decided to throw hands when the kid threw the tape at her because he was acting up. Therefore, when someone of such stature and caliber is present, they must be detained and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. According to Dr. Candice Matthews of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition.

“You can see my son laying on the floor, not moving, and then she takes him by the left arm and just drags him across the floor,” said Leveston of the scene near the end of the 30-minute film.

It took place in October 2021. In November 2021, the Montgomery County School Board decided to fire the counselor, and they informed CPS. It was determined following their inquiry that there was no physical abuse.

Following the Montgomery County DA’s Office’s decision to disqualify itself due to a conflict of interest, the Grimes County District Attorney’s Office opened an investigation.

Andria Bender, the D.A. for Grimes County, issued the following statement:

The district attorney’s office for Grimes County carefully examined this case. Reviewing the evidence, it is clear that a jury cannot find the victim’s claim to be true. Our office takes claims concerning kids seriously, as does our responsibility to look for justice. Additionally, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services looked into this situation and disproved any claims of physical abuse against the suspect.

This judgment does not preclude the school district from taking Ms. Tatem to task and does not bar the family and their representative from pursuing any civil claims, as our office has discussed with them.

“I believe she needs to think it through. Imagine if it were her child. The counselor is not required to work with kids. She should be locked up. She needs to be there, adds Leveston.

Depending on the outcome of a Texas Education Agency hearing that starts on Friday as the counselor requests to be restored, the counselor might be able to work with kids once more.

Even though the district issued the following statement:

“Montgomery ISD is aware of an incident that took place in October 2021 at Madeley Ranch Elementary School involving a student and a staff member. The district treats these issues with the utmost seriousness. When the district learned of the occurrence, an investigation was launched right away, and the employee was taken out of class and put on administrative leave. By the terms of the employee’s employment contract, the district took the necessary action to propose the termination of the employee as soon as the investigation was complete. It also referred the case to the district attorney’s office and child protective services

In a public meeting, the Board of Trustees unanimously decided to suggest this employee’s termination based on the Superintendent’s advice. A hearing is scheduled for March after the employee filed an appeal with the Texas Education Agency. In this situation, the district and law enforcement have collaborated. The district, however, has no control or responsibility over what cases the District Attorney eventually chooses to prosecute once the case has been presented to him or her.

The parents of the student were invited to a meeting with the superintendent and other district officials.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a federal regulation that safeguards the privacy of student education data, stipulates that parents must be given full access to their child’s educational records, including the ability to see videos.  The FERPA privacy regulations will continue to be followed by the school district. At Montgomery ISD, creating secure learning environments for all kids comes first. Any behavior that violates this fundamental principle is improper and won’t be accepted in our district.

The 7-year-old’s family claims that although he has been restrained in the past, they don’t think the right restraining techniques were used this time. They claim he is traumatized and experiencing nightmares right now, and they vow to keep fighting for justice.

The Associate Registrar of the University Exposed Dr. Candice Matthews’ Fake Claim

If Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee somehow manages to win her bid to become Mayor of the City of Houston on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the general election, Carroll G. Robinson, the chairman of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats, should not be permitted to win the desired 18th Congressional District of Texas seat. OTHER EVENTS…If you didn’t know, last week Dr. Candice Matthews was elected to lead the Harris County Chapter of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats.

But on her application for a state license for her “CHILDREN OF DIVERSITY” Child Care Placement Agency, Gerry Wayne Monroe, also known as the 5-Star General, questioned the veracity of the “DOCTORATE DEGREE” she claimed to hold from the University of Southern California (USC). To review Dr. Candice Matthews‘ alleged educational history from when she submitted her application.

The 5-Star General, also known as Gerry Wayne Monroe, intends to inform Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton that Dr. Candice Matthews‘ “THE TRANSCRIPT” used in “HER APPLICATION” to be granted a state license to run the Children of Diversity Child Care Placement Agency is a forgery. Dr. Candice Matthews falsely stated on “PAGE ONE” of her “FRAUDULENT APPLICATION” that she earned a Ph.D. in education from the University of Southern California, which has since been disproven.

How? The University of Southern California’s Associate Registrar of Academic Records & Registrar, Stephanie A. Murguia, has certified that Dr. Candice Matthews never went to USC. USC is located at 700 Childs Way, Blvd. #91 in Los Angeles, CA 90089.

  1. I see that the media has not yet caught on to the fact that she has no PHD/ It seems that now she is promoting the idea that having gotten an honorary degree from some unknown entity is the same as earning a PhD from an accredited University. So now she states she is a Dr. due to an honorary ceremony.

i think it speaks to ethics.

  2. Her bogus degree said that she was a competent lady, but she never attended the University of Southern California, and the paperwork show that she was not enrolled. They were simply making up the fake assertion to deceive the public.

  3. There must be no violations of the fundamental principles contained in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and if there are, those responsible will face criminal charges. It is critical to provide the youngster with access to a friendly learning environment.

  4. This is totally unacceptable behavior, and I don’t understand how someone can become so cruel that she doesn’t know how to cope with the children. This is completely unacceptable behavior. These people have no place in human civilization at any time.

  5. It is difficult to believe that such actions were going place because it is completely forbidden to treat children in such a terrible manner, and there would be no larger accusations presented against her. The parents of the 7-year-old child are constantly complaining that their child was abused at school, and such charges are difficult to believe.
And the family was never offered the services that they had been promised. On the other side, they claim that the educator who committed the atrocities was sacked.

  6. Why is it that persons of a certain ethnicity, such as Candice Matthews, are often accused of committing crimes like these? People who have brought these allegations against her do not want to be in positions of power, so they have used racism as an excuse.
Despite the fact that the law would never make an exception for them, black people are always treated as slaves. There would also be a level playing field.

  7. To begin with, the parents who paid them money in the guise of learning had no idea their children were being subjected to horrifying, immoral treatment instead. I get sad thinking about the parents who pay for these advantages in the hopes that their children will develop and learn from them.

  8. It is a pity that people like Candice Matthews exist in this society who have no regard for human dignity. They were committing their crimes while the child who had been molested by her was in a deep depression, and it was extremely difficult for them to get out of the circumstances they had put themselves in.

  9. The way she treats the child is disgusting and should not be tolerated in any way. When things like these happen, the individual who perpetrated the crimes is always shielded from the consequences of their actions and claims to be blameless.
